Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★I really like the app, with sending and receiving messages when not at my desk. It saves me from having to have colleagues' mobile numbers to text. But I don't see how much more usefull this app will be until it synchs conversations between deviced, i.e., your phone and your business PC.
5 ★I've seen a lot of people complaining that this isn't offered on iphone. Samsung is a Microsoft BASED programming system and apple doesn't always support Microsoft softwares, unfortunately this is one of them but this works exactly as described and it work for my samsung, pc, tablet, everything it's supposed. Good work Microsoft on the perfect softwares!
1 ★How do you make a program called "Lync", and not make it sync across all devices? This is the number 1 feature I think anyone would expect given it's called "Lync". There is absolutely no logic or benefit for a user to have the program implemented this way, and actual makes Lync more of a hassle!
2 ★I can't use it on my tab (note 10.1)since it doesn't seem to be compatible, even though it works with my mobile (note 2). Both are running the same version of Android, and the tab has comparable hardware if not superior. I can't even use lync 2013 on my tab since it is not backward compatible. To be fair it has a nice and clean interface for mobile, but it doesn't seem to support multiple devices. So if you were chatting on your mobile device you can't continue it on another device. Needs to catch up with times.
1 ★This is another typical Microsoft product. I have owned many (Zune, mice, keyboards, windows, office) and all are flashy products with tons of advertisement. But the products are really bad. Lync 2010 is the same. It works when it wants. It worked the first time and that was it many other attempts just fails miserably. I can not wait to get rid of all these Microsoft crap
1 ★This indeed is a wonderful app. It fulfills it's intended purpose which is displaying "unable to sign in". Those who say you need to have good Internet,I bet even you had 10G connection,it will show unable to sign in,which is perfect as it is the intended purpose of this app. Now I'm in urgent need to connect to my team and I'm amazed by the working of this app . If had 10 stars option, I would have given it,but since no such option I am disappointed and I go with 1 star only.
2 ★I use a VPN to connect to my company's system, but this app rarely reconnected when my network connection drops and reconnects. Even when I stay connected, my status changes to inactive within minutes, and there is no setting to change the timeout. I am also having a problem when I need to re-sign in, where I need to restart the app for it to reestablish a connection. I was very happy when I saw this app, would have paid for it, but it is not as convenient nor as responsive as I had assumed.
2 ★Please note that you can not have a punctuation mark in your pwd or the login will not work. Discovering this ad the problem was like finding a needle in a haystack. Changed password and all working now. UPDATE: I can no longer just click my meeting lync and connect. Not sure on what end the problem lies, but it used to work
1 ★I'm not repeating what others have said, I'll just remain patient that our Lync/Exchange/Sharepoint 2013 environments go live, and will try Lync 2013 on Android (already using the PC version since 2012)
1 ★I'm required by my company to use Lync to keep in touch with my peers. However whenever my phone is idle for more than a minute or two my Lync "Status" turns to "Inactive," which sometimes prevents my peers from reaching me and can be interpreted as goofing off. Why doesn't Microstuff add an Option for allowing users to set when Lync shows Inactive or, as happens with the PC version, "Away"? This 'feature' causes me more trouble than any other App on my phone...
1 ★Not compatible with ASUS Transformer TF-101. Really? That sucks!! Not like it hasn't been out for awhile. C'mon, Microsoft. ***UPDATE*** Bafflingly, Lync 2013 *IS* compatible with the TF-101, proving that there's no reason for Lync 2010 not to be. My business uses Lync 2010, so this doesn't help me. I wonder if Microsoft even realizes that they've blocked access on the Transformer? Do you read your reviews, Microsoft? You've got a long-known, oft-reported, unresolved bug here...
2 ★The app works fine most of the time, however: a) It doesn't remember my login so each time I log out, I have to retype my login name and password. b) The app will lose connection and not reconnect. When this happens, i have to logout and log back in. I can't rely on it to work all day in the background and constantly have to check to make sure it's still connected.
