Legal Disclaimers
The AT&T Secure Family service is free for the first 30 days. Afterwards, you will be automatically billed $7.99 each month (includes support for up to 10 family members and up to 30 devices in total). Service auto renews every 30 days unless cancelled. Cancel anytime. To use the AT&T Secure Family service, you must download two Apps: the AT&T Secure Family Parent App (adults, parents, or guardians) and the AT&T Secure Family Companion App (children).

Install the Companion App on your child’s device and pair it with the Parent App on your device. Pairing is required to access all features. Only authorized app users have permission to use the App to locate a family member’s device. AT&T Secure Family uses the Google Accessibility API as an optional component to the parental controls function, and when enabled by the parent, helps to prevent removal of the Secure Family Companion App to prevent disablement of parental control functions by the child.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can reduce battery life. Despite our best efforts, availability, timeliness, or accuracy of location information is not guaranteed. Coverage not available in all areas.

There is a compatibility conflict that can prevent the addition of AT&T Secure Family Companion App to your child’s companion device if you have AT&T ActiveArmor Advanced Mobile Security running on the same companion device.  If you wish to continue with the purchase, you must downgrade to the FREE version of AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security on the companion device before adding AT&T Secure Family Companion App.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★It very rarely works well enough to be dependable. Very glitchy. Edit: I called ATT and they told me this isn't their problem the app is trash, call the developer. I just signed up for Life 360, cheaper and not junk. Done with ATT.
1 ★App asks me to log on every time I used the app even though I select keep me logged in. Also takes forever to get location details of family members. There should be an option to set to a refresh schedule of every 15,30,60 minutes.
4 ★This app has really helped me monitor my children's phone usage. The only problem I have with it is that sometimes a phone gets disconnected from the coverage and we have had a few issues getting it back. Thankfully, though, it does notify you when this happens.
1 ★This app is worthless. All the locations are on all the time and the app shows all of us at home at all times. If it does pick up a location its never in real-time. Gonna cancel it before they charge me.
1 ★Since update app has not worked properly. It keeps freezing up and crashing when opened. To check history it buffets and then crashes. Past history want even work. So I am paying for something that doesn't even work
1 ★This app is horrible! It freezes eveeytime I open it for months now. And please don't waite your time reapo ding with "email..." because I have, with no response at all. I have undated both the family app and the companion app, does not change a thing.
1 ★NO Support! Works ok but has some major problems where it randomly blocks things like streaming music (which worked until now), and they waste your time waiting for help that isn't available.
1 ★The app keeps crashing every time I try to look at the activity on my child's phone. I love the capabilities of the app, if only it would work!!
2 ★when 1 parent is signed in and the other signs in, then the other parent is kicked off the app. also, the location distance can show over a mile radius. Google is free and the app has way less errors.
3 ★Gives a basic whereabouts. Remember if you live in a rural area, like me, yes your family member could be miles from their actually loacation (but not always). I am guessing it has something to do with the lack of cell phone towers, plus the mountains & vallies come into play. For the most part, if I have any concerns, it let's me know the whereabouts of my 18, when I need to know. Like recently, walking around a dangerous LARGE waterfall in the snow and ice!. Sent a text to leave it.
2 ★Sometimes it is very slow to locate them. I have to refresh it many times and it has taken over 5 minutes at times to get their location.
1 ★Tired of the app crashing and the need to Uninstall to reinstall. The app did finally completely crash and won't work at all I reached out to support and what a joke! Did absolutely nothing told me to restart my phone and they would call back after they sent an update and never got a call. Save you money and do not buy its a constant fight with this app
