Description

Nock Nock is a simple app which allows you to monitor your websites for maximum uptime!

The app will automatically knock on the door of your websites (or web servers) on a chosen interval to make sure they are up and responding successfully. If something is wrong, you get a notification telling you so.

How does it check if your server is up? An HTTP GET request is made, the response code is checked. Nock Nock can also do custom validation on the response, by searching for a term, or even by executing a custom block of JavaScript.

Nock Nock is open source! Contributions (pull requests) are very welcome. https://github.com/afollestad/nock-nock

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Glad u implemented custom SSL certificate option. Apparently Downloading SSL certificate of a third party website is not convinient(possible) on neither Chrome nor Firefox on android. On PC it is easy. But on phone couldn't find an option. No issues with current app but would be little more convenient if possible to fetch certificate as well :)
5 ★Been using this for a while now. While it's not perfect, it's really useful, and the fact that it's free is awesome. Really appreciate the work done by the developer.
1 ★Please stop deleting configured sites with each update. The app is great in all other respects, and I appreciate that it's a freebie, but this behaviour renders the app too unreliable as no notification is given when sites are deleted.
5 ★Really useful app
4 ★Good, but could you let us set a timeout to define if the site is offline or not? I use it to check a site with a slow server and it's often false-positive.
5 ★Sweet looking app! Especially love the custom JavaScript validation option.
5 ★Please add options to visit and share a website.
5 ★Beautiful APIs
5 ★Easy and convenient.
5 ★Awesome. It'd be great to be able to configure the intervals per power setting. E.g. every 2 minutes when plugged in, every 30 minutes on battery etc. Also, a graph of response times would be cool.
4 ★Make sure you put the protocol in front of the URL. Otherwise you get a malformed URL error.
5 ★Great job. Seems to be working nicely. I set it to check my site every 60 mins.
