Voice Reading is a simple and intuitive app for read aloud text. Using the Android share feature you can send any data from other apps to Voice Reading.Text - Select a text from any apps (e.g. Message, Email, ...) and share it. The text will be read aloud.
URL - While browsing a page you can share the url to Voice Reading. It will parse the main content and read it for you. It was never easier to read a page.
File - Voice Reading also accept text files. Share the path and it will read the file content.
Message: Show notification when new messages arrive.

3 ★The good news is that it can voice read just about anything! The bad news is that there's no settings to use alternate text to speech engines. The ugly, kind of a Spartan looking app.... but I am more about function. If there can be alternate voice engines then it would get a 5.
4 ★This is the only one that has worked consistently for me. When a website doesn't work due to mobile settings, it can still be used by highlighting the text and then sharing to the app. One problem that I seem to have is that the pause actually is a stop. It will not remember where it was in the document.
4 ★Great app, I think this app as came a long way. It's great for going through a large almount of material without getting bored or feeling The after effects. However there should be a way to slow down the speech.
2 ★I thought this problem had been fixed (says it was fixed in the description) but I don't have time to figure it out. Was very excited. Please fix. Uninstalling until a real fix is made!
3 ★It hangs on over 50 percent of all web page URLS I share to it. Often, it has to have its reading list manually cleared out to start reading anything again. I'm looking for something more robust.
4 ★Only problem is that sometimes it reads only the first chapter and doesn't go to the next chapters. There should be a navigation tab to go to any page and then start voice reading. Plz do it and it will be lot more handy.
4 ★Once you figure out how to use it (which isn't that hard) it does exactly what you need it to... ie read stuff that you're too lazy or not in a position to read (eg while driving). People are complaining about the voice quality but it just uses Google's voice engine so its nothing to do with the app. A few enhancements such as the ability to read incoming emails (not just texts) would give this app a well earned 5 stars.
5 ★Great for listening to long patches of text. Being slightly dyslectic, this app helps me "read with my ears " news and other text reach sites, at about a quarter of the time. It is also much less laborious than actually reading with only my eyes. Sometimes I'll read along for even greater absorption of the contents. I think this even helps improve my own (rather slow) reading speed. ThanX for a great app!
3 ★Only tried to have it read one text, it kept on freezing, and I could not make it change articles or even change from the Indian voice.. At least for a couple minutes. Find a different app.
3 ★Unfortunately you cannot choose the language. I am mostly reading spanish and english texts but also some french, german and portuguese. My phone has the spanish OS setting, so only a spanish reader is available. This sounds horrible when it reads an english text. The ideal would be if the app recognizes and chooses automatically the language, but there is not even a manual setting available. The quality of the reading voice is ok, but this is a huge handicap.
5 ★This is by far the most versatile software out here. Being someone who cant sit down and focus long on one thing, its nice to have something that I can actually finish. Thank you for helping me, a 30 year old semi-successful man, finally be able to enjoy a whole book!!!
5 ★This app works! I simply share the URL or select any amount of text, and share with Voice Reader, and VR reads it out loud to me through my BT headphones. A simple, efficient & very welcome application as I'm a garden designer & work outside with my hands everyday. Quite happy to have finally found Voice Reader!
