Description

Please see this list for our supported Android devices. http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/jsp/Landing/pulsense-compatible-devices.do?BV_UseBVCookie=yes
If your device is not on this list, we do not currently support it.

[Overview of the application]
PULSENSE measures heartbeat and activity 24 hours a day, tracking your exercise across five heart rate zones, as well as steps, distance, calories, sleep quality, and mind.

"Epson PULSENSE View" is an application for Android that allows you to view the data recorded by your PULSENSE device, making it easy to keep an eye on your daily, weekly or monthly statistics. Data will be synchronised wirelessly via Bluetooth® Smart with your Android device, providing you with real time data on the go. In addition you can use the app to set your targets and manage your device settings including your wake-up alarm.

[Features]
Simply swipe the dials to navigate through the activities at ease.
Swipe the tab in the middle at the top of the screen to the bottom in order to display the real-time meter. You can use this function to monitor your heart rate during a workout for effective heart rate zone training. Press the 'START' button to start the recording and finish the recording by pressing 'STOP' at the end of your training.

PULSENSE calculates calories burned based upon body motion and heart rate data, which is related very closely to calories burned, enabling more detailed calorie calculation. You can also input your calories manually by pressing the button.

[Battery consumption and location data]
PULSENSE View relies on mobile device and Wi-Fi station data when determining your position, which is less accurate than GPS data. This application does not use a GPS data to preserve your Android device battery.

[Supported devices]
PS-100, PS-500 (Firmware must be ver.1.10 or later)

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Same as nearly everyone else here....when it works its great. Unfortunately thats only about 20% of the time. The band does exactly what you want, but you have to turn off your phone or resync contanstantly to get your results. Trying on my One M8 to see if this improves it, but I am not hopeful. Needs a lot more work doing on it
1 ★So i pay over £110 for a new band, and spent over 3 hours trying to set this thing up. Tried on 4 different devices and not one worked. Repeatedly kept coming up with errors and in the end I have returned the band for a refund and will delete this app. And it looked so good too! What a shame. Won't risk another though.
1 ★The app NEVER synchronizes, although the device appears on the list. Tried on Nexus 7 (2013) and Moto G. The web site does not even mention Android support, see the link in the description, have you ever tested it? And yes, the email support on the German website does not work as well, the form submission ends with an error message... Any startup does way better, wake up!
1 ★This app needs to support more devices. Isn't BLE a standard? Android has generic APIs for it, so why isn't this app written in a generic way? The companion device (a PS-100) is utterly useless to me since I have no way to get at the data. FWIW I would be happy to sign an NDA and help debug this on my devices (g1l3sp at gmail).
4 ★Works well for me. I have to re-sync once in a while (maybe once a week or so) but its nothing major.
1 ★The unit is great, works well on the iPad.. As for the nexus 4, it never connects, drops out all the time, slow.. Needs to be looked at in a big way and sorted out..
1 ★Waste of money, finally managed to connect to the phone and experia z2 and it stayed connected for a whole hour before the app told me I had to reset it. Which meant plugging it back into the charging cradle. Did that three times in one night before I decided to give up. Avoid!!! Same issues occur on Galaxy Note 4 Now is failing to connect at all, numerous reboots of the phone and unpairing and resetting the band, constant errors, do not buy... Update: Now no longer will connect, tried resetting multiple times, re-installing software. Tried on Galaxy Note 4 and iPad.
1 ★Still cannot pair on Nexus 5 running 4.4.4. This is getting ridiculous!
2 ★嚐試多次, 始終無法配對成功
2 ★I am using samsung S5.... the pulsense 100 band looses connection alot! I have to put it in the cradle all of the time to reset it. I think this app and band will be great eventually. ...but right now it needs some serious attention!
3 ★They need to fix the notification functions for email, calendar and phone calls.
4 ★Nice interface with a few different options for how the information is presented. Ease to use to setup the device it's self too. Had the device (ps-500) up and running in less than 5mins out of the box.
