• Android phone running OS 5.0 or later
• DIRECTV customers must have a Residential Home account registered on DIRECTV's website to access the DIRECTV app for tablets
• Watching On Demand or select Live TV Streaming channels outside the home requires an active Wi-Fi or 3G/4G Internet connection. For best performance, connect to a strong Wi-Fi signal.
• Available content is based on your current programming package and premium service. Not all content is available to stream at this time
• Live TV Streaming in-home only channels and remote control requires a Wi-Fi connection to your home network and a DIRECTV Plus® HD DVR (models R22, and HR20 or higher) connected to a broadband Internet connection. Remote control also works with HD receivers (models H21, H23 or higher) connected to a broadband Internet connection
• DVR streaming and downloading requires Internet-connected Genie HD DVR model HR44 or higher and compatible mobile device. To download, must be in-home on same Wi-Fi network connected to DVR
• App download, advertisements and non-streaming app activity may incur data usage
• Scheduling a recording requires a Wi-Fi, or mobile network connection and a DIRECTV Plus® DVR or HD DVR
• Receivers do not require phone or Internet connection to schedule a recording

1 ★Can't watch most live shows unless you're connected to the same network as your receiver. Why have the app if I can't watch my favorite sports team on the road? What a waste.
5 ★I love my Dtv. You are the best. Try and help a good crew and tech. The are trying to resolve my data being used up while i am on the phone watching TV. I am sure they will get it reaolved. My data was being used up while i was watching dtv on my phone. The staff os very helpful. I love them all God bless them. They are very professonal, try to help the best they can. Tv is still running slow i am sure they will work that out my tv still runs slow but i am sure they will fix the problem
1 ★App cuts out all the time always "optimizing video quality " just annoying when you're trying to watch a good game or movie.

1 ★Today's date: May 15, 7:44 p.m. cst. Reinstalled the app and it works on my devices. Hallelujah. Today’s date: May 1 Deleting this app from my android phone & iPad until I hear the app is working again. Today's date: April 21 App continues to be useless. Today's date: April 11 Week 3 and the app is still down since the update. Same problem on my IPad too. Terrible.
1 ★It works fine for live TV. But when I start watching a downloaded from the DVD it freezes and shuts down. Very frustrating down loaded shows to watch on a flight and did not get to.
1 ★I can't give this less than 1 star. I can't connect to my dvr, I have uninstalled it many times. Tech support is a joke.
