E’ stato un giocatore che ha ricoperto il ruolo di mediano. Legò per quasi tutta la carriera il suo nome a quello del Milan, con la cui maglia esordì nell’immediato dopoguerra, ricoprendo il ruolo di mediano. Convocato nel frattempo in nazionale, esordì con la maglia numero 4 nella partita contro la Cecoslovacchia il 14 dicembre 1947 al fianco di alcuni giocatori del Grande Torino. Rimase nel giro della nazionale fino al 1952, quando, dopo 17 presenze, le ultime delle quali da capitano, lasciò il posto ad altri due grandissimi mediani degli anni ’50, Giacomo Mari e Sergio Cervato. In campionato fu fra i protagonisti del celebre scudetto del 1951, con il quale il Milan tornò al tricolore dopo 44 anni di attesa: in quella stagione Annovazzi si dimostrò anche un eccellente realizzatore nonostante il suo ruolo, mettendo a segno 16 reti (8 delle quali su calcio di rigore). Nel 1953 passò all’Atalanta, con la quale giocò nella massima serie fino al 1958. Conclusa la carriera di calciatore, si dedicò a quella di allenatore, soprattuto di squadre giovanili. Poco prima della sua morte ebbe occasione di avere fra le sue fila anche il giovane Franco Baresi.Latest updates
