Description
Nel lontano 1929 alcuni dirigenti e operatori del dopolavoro Ferroviario si riunirono con l'intento di costituire una Polisportiva con varie discipline da proporre agli associati. Ma fu solo nel 1931 che con il decisivo apporto degli operatori del Mercato delle carni venne costituita, con il permesso delle gerarchie fasciste del tempo, un'associazione dilettantistica alla quale venne dato il nome di AUSONIA.Nella grande sala sita al primo piano della palazzina liberty che si affaccia in viale Molise si riunirono, nel maggio 1931, il Sig. Colzani, il Sig, Barzè, il Sig. Canaletti, il Sig. Aureggi e il Sig. Gallinella e deliberarono la nascita della Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica con Colzani primo Presidente e Aureggi vice. La sede venne stabilita in viale Molise n.9, dove avvenivano i raduni pre-partita, ed il campo nei pressi di piazza Martini (era poco più di un prato con le porte delimitato da una corda). I colori sociali verde e bianco. L' AUSONIA ebbe un immediato successo diventando campione milanese nel 1934 e nel 1936 prima del periodo bellico dove continuò comunque la sua attività sia pur ridotta. Dopo la guerra per, motivi logistici, il campo fu trasferito in viale Molise (nei pressi di dove adesso sorge il deposito ATM) e solo negli anni '60 nel bellissimo centro di via Lombroso 103 con spogliatoi, docce e , fino al 2011, sede Sociale.
Specie nel primo dopoguerra molti furono i giocatori che passarono a società professionistiche. Tra i più noti: Bagnoli, Chiappella, Ceravolo, Povia, Gardini, Giuccioli, Sangalli. In tempi più recenti: Bega.
