Description
Cimiano è un quartiere della vecchia periferia di Milano. Sono sorti col tempo molti edifici ed oggi la zona è servita da metropolitana e autobus. Rimane una delle zone più verdi di Milano, nel cuore del parco Lambro. E’ qui che nel lontano ’57 prende il via l’Associazione Sportiva Cimiano al tempo Associazione legata all’ACLI.NON ERA SOLO CALCIO
Il 27 Novembre del 1957, Alberini Battista, Pasta Camillo, Aventino Gerardo, Rescalli Oreste, pionieri di allora, fondando la Bocciofila ed è qui che si distingue per la passione e le sue capacità amministrative il nostro ex Amministratore Carlo Filisetti scomparso nel ’97, che ci ha accompagnato nella nostra avventura dedicandosi per quarant’anni ai giovani. L’associazione contava 102 iscritti.
1967: IL BASKET
Nel 1967 nasce il basket ed i risultati appaiono subito convincenti, poi tutto finì nel 1970 e, solo nel 1995, il Presidente Cipriani, su desiderio dei ragazzi del quartiere che volevano giocare, ricostituisce la squadra.Il gruppo di ragazzi gioca e si diverte per tre anni prima dello scioglimento definitivo ma l’obiettivo di farli giocare giocare e tenerli insieme fu raggiunto.
1993: IL TENNIS
Il Maestro Mario Manfro con alcuni ragazzi della scuola.La voglia di avviare i giovani, che non trovano posto nell’attività calcistica, spinge il Presidente Cipriani alla formazione della Scuola Tennis. L’attività raggiunge il suo scopo facendo giocare per circa quattro anni alcuni ragazzi appassionati a questo sport. Non vi fu mai una attività agonistica vera, ma questo era l’obiettivo perseguito.

Oggi la POLISPORTIVA CIMIANO, alla presenza delle autorità civili; sportive ed ecclesiastiche, di tutte le componenti societarie (Dirigenti, Allenatori, Atleti) pone la PRIMA PIETRA dell’erigendo centro sportivo dedicato alla memoria di Mario Casadei gloria pugilistica degli anni ’30 campione di Italia pesi Welter campione d’Italia medi e mediomassimi prof. e Finalista Campionato Mondiale
