Description

Want your car to sound like an expensive muscle car? Now you can!

DragFX requires a Bluetooth OBD adapter. The adapter allows DragFX to connect to your vehicle's OBD (On-board Diagnostic) interface, to allow the sound produced by DragFX to accurately match your engine's actual RPM in real time.

Without the OBD adapter, a slider allows manual control of the RPM to preview the available engine sounds.

How to install DragFX APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download DragFX APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

2 ★I had this app a year ago and got rid or it and then re downloaded it and now I have no #s an the tack it's a diamond shape connecting the 12 3 6 9 (where thay would be on a clock) and a gripe I also have is the sounds are very artificial except the 69 mustang otherwise it does what it advertised

5 ★While sound racer did not work (which I had payed for btw), this app did! It instantly connected to my obd Bluetooth when sound racer would continuously give errors. The sounds are good enough to get a good kick out of it. Considering it's free, this app is awesome. I honestly hope that the developer puts more effort in perfecting the scaling of the rpm, and I would gladly pay double of what I've payed for similar apps.

4 ★It would be even more realistic if you make the app to take into account not only the rpm but the throttle. Now the sound is "flat" and becomes annoying after a while. When you release the throttle pedal the engine sound should become more silent and more "calm" because the engine load is smaller. You could easily try to simulate this effect by making the engine vol dynamic with a user defined max. When the pedal is not pushed the engine vol drops,when you start to push it harder the vol. rises accordingly.

3 ★UPDATE: The little fluctuations of sound were from a bad ODBII Device. A better device solved that issue Pros: Great for a freebie. Good sounds. Easy interface. Cons: Tinny rise and fall. Remarks: Very few apps have made me feel like a kid like this one has. This is the 21st century equivalent to putting baseball cards in your spokes (google it). Pure fun!

5 ★Works great in Samsung galaxy s6. For those who can't get to the settings I found out by mistake. Hold down the back button for a couple of seconds and the option comes up. Slight lag on throttle and sound but the only app of those type that I have found that works with my OBDII device.

2 ★Did not work well on my ZTE 998 (Jellybean; dual processor) phone. The sound cuts in and out and I never was able to get it to work continuously, while the sound I did get was garbled and unrealistic. Probably an issue with my phone not processing the bluetooth signal cleanly? Disappointing after seeing the killer YouTube video demo, but that was probably with an iPhone with the more expensive OBDLink USB/WiFi scanner (which you can't use with this android app). 2 stars since the stand alone sampler function worked well so at least I was happy with that.
