5 ★The app and is use are great. Completely changes the vehicle and how it acts. I wish there was a way for multiple "presets" on fumes for the customization module, or even a tune sharing platform for us to use and share our tunes with each other. Other than that, the app does everything you think it would, with no issues. Also, the new UI is great.
5 ★This totally transformed my 535i. The only thing I didn't like about my car when I bought it was how slow it shifted. It was comfortable, but not 'sporty'. Once I read about this app, I had to try it. So glad I did. Using stage 3 setup, in 'sport', the transmission shifts so quick, and at the right point. In regular 'drive', you still get a comfortable cruise setup. Makes a world of difference!
5 ★It works great at the track. Makes the car come out of the corners in the right gear. Lets you concentrate on weight transfer and not worry about shifting. D mode is much more responsive and shifts faster. Makes for a noticeable improvement all around. Excellent support from the developer. I had trouble with my car slipping into manual mode. The developer helped me with a soloution.
4 ★Works well, very fast with MHD ENET adapter, initial flash only took about 5 min. Still playing with settings, really hope that we'll get torque reduction request settings for the 8 speed soon. I'd like more torque reduction for faster shifts. Ideally, I want it to shift fast anytime it's in M mode, regardless of EDC setting. It would also be nice to speed up response time to downshifts, it still takes almost a second to downshift from the point of pulling the paddle.
1 ★The software works great, but getting it to connect to my e90 BMW 335i has been a total nightmare, despite using a a quality Bimmergeeks cable. After months of trying I changed the OTG adapter and was able to connect right away and flash the car. Two days later, I tried to connect again to make some adjustments, but cannot connect. I'm wondering if it's now due to an app update which xHP made during that time. MHD connects with no problem using the same cable and OTG adapter(s).
5 ★One of the things i anticipated the most for my E90 330i, it really feels like a different car. In my opinion the best money you can spend on your ZF6 Equipped car. Don't expect it to turn into a DCT or to be on par with a ZF8, but you'll find yourself thinking "Why oh why hasn't it been this way from the factory". Suddenly things start to happen when you press the gas pedal in D from a stop instead of just kind of lazily slushing forward, S is just incredibly fun. Highly recommend, good job RBT
5 ★This and MHP are far superior products than any other tune you can buy. They work hand in hand. Follow the directions and take it easy for 50 miles to adapt the transmission and afterwards you'll have no complaints. I did find that I went back in MHD and tuned with the proper stage with flashing for xHP with automatic 6sp transmission. No codes or anything. When I first did the flashing my gear indicator was funny but after riding and allowing the transmission to go through the gears it's perfect
5 ★Wanted to write a quick review on Stage 3 I have a 2013 335I drive with a JB 4 on stage 1. The transmission always felt like it wasn't matched to the car. Hard to describe it, it just felt off. Plus the kick down was terrible. I was very hesitant to install stage 3 because I drive this car for work and sometimes with clients in it. I couldn't have some boy racer hard shifting transmission. I went with stage 3 on a hope. Turns out its amazing, in daily driving in D, no one would ever guess this trans has been tuned. Even at full throttle upshifts in D, they are smooth and very quick. No jolt, no hard shift, nothing. It shifts exactly how it should have from the factory. M mode is incredible. It's like driving a stick, shifts are fast and smooth, and most importantly, they are done when you click the paddle. Haven't messed with S mode yet. Simply put, this is the best 200ish dollars I have spent on the car. I used an Amazon Fire HD tablet, and a 18 dollar cable off amazon. I didn't disconnect my JB4. Install was smooth with no problems. To anyone on the fence, buy it. It's worth it.
5 ★Well worth it. My X5 35D using Stage 2 now feels like a BMW. I learned three important lessons using the App and the Maps. One, read and follow the instructions exactly as written; don't take shortcuts. Two, if you have an aftermarket Android Nav system with USB installed in the dash as an upgrade to the iDrive system, DO NOT use that device to flash the car (it can be used to make a back-up and read error codes but it cannot flash). Three, use a relatively new, stable Android device running OS-5 as a minimum.
5 ★Probably the most important modification you can do to the car, It transformed the entire driveing experience , Doesn't matter if you are stocks or highly modified it's a must!, Changes are lightning-quick(most people think it's a DSG) response so is much more intuitive and changes up and changes down when necessary far better than any car I've ever driven, rev matched downshifts are perfect. An absolutely amazing product would give it 6 stars if I could
5 ★This has transformed my car into a real driver oriented machine now. So much more control through the use of engine braking and whatnot as the gear changes are so lightning quick and the rev matching goes a lot higher than the stock BMW does so very helpful when downshifting for bends etc. it's shaved almost half of second of my quarter mile times which is crazy.. In D its like any normal auto but slide it over to S and HOLD ON! A must have for any zf box. can't speak highly enough of it
3 ★Only reason i like this app is because its the only one....typically it works but lately they keep doing updates that cause a plethora of issues.....already like 4 bad updates this year!!! Just went to load a new file into the car and wouldn't you know it wont read the file due to another bad update!!!! Come on people....test your updates before releasing them please and fix this file loading issue!
