This app requires Secure SHell (SSH) to be enabled (and working!) on the router.

DD-WRT Companion supports both private key and password-based SSH authentication methods.
Features (some of them may not be available in this Lite version)

Notes
→ Some DD-WRT builds (e.g., r21061) reportedly have SSH issues. The issue is with the SSH server itself, not with this app.
If the app cannot connect to your Router, first ensure you can SSH into your Router from a computer, using the same credentials you provided to the app.

5 ★Ok wanted to update my rating to 5. The app totally works and it was my fault I couldn't connect, after going through all my router settings I found I had the wrong ssh enabled. So far everything looks great and I'll most likely be purchasing the full app. Thanks to the developer for reaching out. Edit: lol yep forgot to change the rating.
3 ★App has real potential. I like it a lot, but I'm running a Tomato version with experimental support and it times out or doesn't work in some areas. Would love to see that fixed and it could be 5 stars.
5 ★It asked for a review but it wasn't nagging me and the app is really useful, especially with dynamic DNS set up. 10/10 would DDWRT again
5 ★At first go it won't work. Then learnt about SSH. Turned on SSH on ddwrt page, entered all details about router & logged in with root/admin combination & ta-da! It works.

1 ★I was hoping for a touchscreen friendly interface for managing my router. Handling reboots pings most of the stuff Luci does but in a touchscreen way. This seems to be just for monitoring uptime of the router. Not useful to me at all. Build Luci interface for my phone as we'll be good.
3 ★Good functionality but for some reason the picture in the sidebar causes my device to lag an extreme amount. This is not an issue with other apps. It becomes tedious when I need to open the sidebar. Please fix this and I will consider purchasing this app.
