The UniFi app simplifies home and business IT by providing a central management interface where you can easily scale, monitor, and optimize every aspect of your network.
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Lack of functionality compared with iOS app. Also in the iOS app way much better organized navigation inside the settings screen and not spreads between categories (e.g. USG settings). Also splash on start is terrible and consumes time to showing instead direct loading. Also sometimes just freezes on boot logo and does not prompt fingerprint scanner unlock. Also network throughput test doesn't work at all after pressing test. Fix this stupid problems, why iOS users got better app than Android?
2 ★It connects but is a rudimentary view as many table features and settings don't populate correctly or are not functioning in the app or on the device; it's even difficult to determine if core firewall / ips are even running using the app or website beyond changing the setting to enabled. There are substantial UI and workflow issues needing to be resolved.
4 ★2021/05/02: It would be nice to be able to see MAC filtering settings. The ability to reverse (Z-A) sort/filter is gone. You can no longer see connection 2G/5G (future 6G?) on Client page. --[ 2020/12/16: Thanks for adding back in 'block/unblock' & 'assign to user groups'.. Rating from 2 to 4 stars 🤩 ]-- --[ 2020/12/14: New information is nice, you can no longer 'assign user groups', 'view history' of connections nor 'block/unblock' devices. Hopefully these will be fixed soon. ]--
4 ★Easy setup with good interface. Still probably prefer computer interface.
1 ★Very difficult to connect and once connected, no internet, so of no real use!
3 ★Good functionality, but they almost force you into using the cloud service instead of connecting to local controllers. While your can connect to local ones with no issue, it requires a 2FA token for login EVERY TIME. Even if you simply switch servers without closing the app, then switch back, you have to get another auth token each time!
1 ★Removal of WiFi speed test is a bad idea, the ability to walk around the house and watch the AP change and speed change was very useful to confirm signal strength in locations. I will up this to 5 stars on feature being put back. Controller screen access is piss slow, what are u people doing? Are u trying make a worse app? You also now can't modify guest networks, what are u people doing to the app? For gods sakes! And not a single IM or comment from the developers...
1 ★Latest update broke multiple sites. On devices screen it will show the devices from the last site you were in but no matter how many times you switch sites the same devices from the first site is all that is shown. Please fix.
2 ★Really hoped it would have the AR feature touted on there website. Sadly it appears that is only for iOS devices. Real shame it did not disclose that before purchasing. Would help a lot in the situation I am in. Everything else seems to work as it should. There are a few features that I would like the controller software to have, but this just the app that talks with it. EDIT: Almost a year later and still not a hint of the AR feature coming to android. Lowering rating.
1 ★With an update they basically made the app unusable. It won't save multiple controllers so you have to log in every time you open the app. You can't delete sites from a controller, from what I can see. Just not a very pleasant experience.
1 ★Still no Unifi AR feature on the Android version of the app, despite being available on iOS for over a year now! Many of the settings were removed from the mobile app with the redesign in late 2020. Now I have to load the desktop site to change most of the settings.
2 ★This app seriously used to be 5 stars. Whatever they changed recently rendered this app totally useless. I have 2 controllers and now all I get using the app is a "unknown error" I have to sign in online to manage everything now. I would change my review if this is fixed
