2 ★I use it to upload to expense reporting for business travel (I drive for this a lot... And they want every start and stop with distance and location), and getting obd codes. The app is useless otherwise. I turned off all the audio prompting I could and ignore what I can't. The makers have tried to impose their view of driving on you with no concern for what you want. If somebody builds a replacement all that actually tried to service customers instead of push an agenda, I would pay a few bucks to get their piece of crap app of my phone. Good device, crap app.
2 ★Collects a lot of data but just sits on top of it--none of it useful for the user.
4 ★The app has been really good so far and I have had it for about six months. I wish it was better at diagnostic codes. It will pick up the bigger ones but I do most of my own mechanic work and have to go find my manual code reader to pick up hidden codes. Overall very handy.
2 ★It only connects about 50% of the time to my phone, so the data is so random that it is not useful.

4 ★5/7 not backwards compatible with 1986 B2000. I can't believe they didn't make a way to connect this with a 30 year old truck. /s But aside from that glaring flaw it was easy to set up on my more modern car.
2 ★Got this as a deal to lower car insurance, however it tells me I had hard braking in normal stops. Considering the input will affect my rates I'm pretty disappointed. Also the constant connection via Bluetooth regardless of car being on is annoying and a power drain on phone.
2 ★I have not found this device to be useful for anything except beeping at me when I do not drive like a grandmother. It will not allow me to turn off my Bluetooth when I'm not using the device. I might be at home in bed I turn off my Bluetooth and automatic turns it right back on. This is resulting in unnecessary battery usage. While this device has been in use I have had engine malfunctions and it has never alerted me to any or with any diagnostic codes. I do not believe that it can actually read any diagnostic codes. I think this is hype and misinformation presented in advertisements for this device. Many cars already have services built into them that provide many of the applications presented by this device. OnStar is one such example. I am quite disappointed in this device. If there is some use that I have not found for it I would wish that the creators or manufacturers of it would please contact me and let me know what I can do with it.
4 ★Idk if it's good for a bmw. I got a message when pairing it to my bmw and it said that fuel would be disabled bcuz it doesn't support bmw. Also I've had error codes but Automatic doesn't see them but other obd2 devices will them. Maybe it only displays major problems.
