Description

This app is an OPTIONAL tool that allows you to manage your SmarTrip® card and account. This app can NOT be used to pay your transit or parking fares. You do NOT need to setup a SmarTrip account to use SmarTrip in Google Wallet.

Add SmarTrip to Google Wallet:

- Open Google Wallet, tap “+ Add to Wallet”, choose “Transit Pass”, then “SmarTrip”

- In less than a minute you’ll have a new SmarTrip card in your Google Wallet and be ready to tap to pay for rides or parking anywhere SmarTrip is accepted.

If you need to do account management, then:

- Install this optional SmarTrip app to register your card for account balance protection, check SmartBenefits, setup Auto-Reload, or buy money-saving unlimited transit passes.

How to install SmarTrip APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download SmarTrip APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

2 ★Does not work for ART bus. Have tried multiple times without success. Thankfully the bus drivers have been kind enough to let me on despite my fare not being registered. Metrorail works perfectly thankfully.

1 ★Good luck trying to transfer your card to Google Pay. If your experience is like mine you'll just keep getting "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later."

4 ★Good app so far, love having my card and the ability to auto reload. But location services not working for me as it keeps showing me at Thomas Circle even though I have location permission turned on in the app.

3 ★Just tried transferring my cards to Google pay and they all error out with "something went wrong". Pretty disappointed and hopefully this is something that can be fixed soon

1 ★Android version no good on a Pixel 2. Try to transfer card to Gpay on phone and told the card is invalid. The same card I used without issue on Metro an hour earlier. Poor.

5 ★Thanks for for bothering to integrate with Google Pay, unlike a certain other transit card. *cough* TAP LA Edit: to the old people complaining about the date entry, try tapping the year to change it more quickly.

1 ★DO NOT BUY THE PASS. It will be a waste of your money. The passes do not work on the bus or metro. My friend and I tried to use it on our trip to DC. Get the physical cards or just pay cash.

2 ★I added my card just fine but it doesn't seem to be getting accepted by PGCC's TheBus even though it used to take my physical card. It's fine otherwise but it kinda screwed up my morning transit now.

1 ★App won't even let login I keep getting an error saying to make sure password and user are correct and seeing how I just had to update my expired password I'm pretty sure it is correct.

5 ★Love that I can use my device to tap into stations instead of holding a physical card! Also the app is very easy to use!

1 ★It is charging me twice for using my card, once when I enter the metro and once when leaving! Should only be charged when leaving! Fix please 🙏

1 ★Please fix the Date Birth entry on create account. You currently have to go through every month of every year to get to the day you were born. It take forever if you are over 20.
