Our Own App is for use by organizations as an information channel to its members, and as means of quick access for members to resources related to the organization. There are two categories where it is especially useful:1) Organizations comprised of members who inherently rely on mobile devices as their primary means of internet access, and
2) Organizations who regularly hold events where attendees rely on their mobile devices as a means of receiving updates and information throughout the event.
Our Own App provides 1-click access, using smart phones and tablets, to the online resources that members need to more fully participate in their organization’s social events, conventions and other activities throughout the year. As directed by the organization, the app provides links to specific pages inside the organization’s website, such as EVENTS, EDUCATION, and BENEFITS. Links may also be made to specific other sites, regarding general info, business activities, or legal policies in which the organization’s members would have an interest.
This is an affinity-focused mobile app that can reach the members of an organization via their cell phone or tablet, so important or time-sensitive information is disseminated more quickly and effectively.
