SOMA Smart Shades is an easy to install, solar-powered device that turns your regular window shades into smart shades. It is extremely simple to operate via your smartphone. It is also easy to install since it is wireless.

All the movements of SOMA Smart Shades are controlled by the application which communicates with SOMA Smart Shades via Bluetooth Low Energy. You can move blinds in your rooms up and down whenever you like or create automated patterns and schedules for different rooms to make your life even more convenient.

3 ★Only seems to allow you to keep configuring the blinds and does not seem able to work out that you have already done that. There is no discrimination between vertical and roller blinds. If you have more than one blind then how do you switch between them. Would appreciate some feedback.

4 ★Some ideas to share, like nummeric display of opening amount (Open from 0-100%) would ease the trigger setup to be similar, or an in-app resorting of units from one group to other or new group without new reconfiguration. In app option to recallibrate of full open/close. Stability of app as well could be more ridgid. Otherwise - works just as intended!

2 ★poor with functionality and lacks ability to change settings without deleting device and reload

3 ★Now broken, possibly since Oreo update, it no longer launches. App itself should give option for sunrise and sunset as I use this in a home office and would use this option. As it is I have to adjust the timings every few weeks

3 ★Seems ok but limited functions on android. Needs a feature where by location it knows sunrise and sunset times so automatically adjusts the blinds And Trigger by specific date Voice command would be a neat feature without having to buy an extra add on
