Esta aplicación, elaborada por expertos en cuidados enfermeros con la asesoría de oftalmólogos, recoge una guía para la atención de la superficie ocular en distintas situaciones de riesgo que se presentan en la clínica.La información se estructura en cinco secciones, correspondientes a otros tantos escenarios de asistencia clínica habituales en la práctica diaria en enfermería (Atención Primaria, Cuidados críticos, Hospitalización, Quirófano y Pruebas diagnósticas).
La Guía permite un acceso rápido a datos de utilidad para la valoración del paciente, la identificación de los riesgos oculares, la influencia de dispositivos externos y fármacos, el diagnóstico del problema y los criterios de actuación (Best Practice) indicados en cada caso, incluida la continuidad de los cuidados.
Un sencillo menú permite localizar y consultar la información disponible en la app dividida por ámbitos asistenciales, así como el acceso directo a recursos bibliográficos.
La app cuenta con el aval científico del Consejo General de Enfermería de España.
