5 ★Super simple with great organisational and privacy capabilities, I recommend the app to everyone and the premium is worth it to know that your notes will never be missing as the support you receive with any issue is amazing.
5 ★Had an issue trying to delete individual entries but found that you have to swipe the screen downwards with the entry open to make the appbar appear that has a menu with options where ypu can delete it. Also, to delete a whole journal you click on the top right menu on the main page then slightly longpress on a journal then quickly tap it and a menu pops up with more options.
4 ★Love the app. My only complaint is when I'm in an entry and scroll up to try to fix something (ex. a grammar mistake) it constantly jumps back down to the bottom of the page as soon as I start typing anywhere that's not the end.
1 ★I can record by text what ever I want, but there's NO user friendly way to make it become a printed document. no way to send it to email or a pdf or anything useful!! Even when you subscripe!!!!! that's why I started using this. to be important documentation I needed ti use later!
3 ★I've liked the app so far except that when I keep trying to edit my notes to either make a sentence bold or put it in italics, it reverts back to the default which is highly frustrating
4 ★So far so good. I plan on buying the full version for the lifetime subscription when money gets better. $80 is a quite a bit for discretionary spending right now.

4 ★Will you have some option to have a sale for the lifetime pro version? That would be awesome. Anyway, the app worked great, there's one thing that I suggest you adding and that's the option to sort the whole content of the folders like all entries will be brought at the bottom and when you opened it, there's an option for you to open it at the very bottom where the last entry was shown. Good for writers who wants to try using this to write stories.
5 ★Great little app. Easy enough to use with no complicated buttons etc. It provides a variety of security options to keep your thoughts secret. One thing that would be nice is to be able to change the layout so the latest entries go to the bottom. I think it would provide a more fluid experience when reading over multiple days. Apart from that, no issues.
5 ★Wanted a simple journal, and Simple Journal delivers. Wording in security settings is now clearer, and the "More Random" scramble setting is amazing! 5/5, because you really get exactly what you see in the (great) description. Minimal design; I just love this app alot. As far as I can tell, only downside is lack of text settings: bold, italics, bullet points, etc. I dont use them at all, but some people might want them. IMO it's worth it to go Pro, for the cloud backup and to support the devs.
5 ★I've been using this app for a few years, backing up locally using settings>export data. Now that has stopped working, it just gets stuck in "exporting data" mode and just creates an empty file. But following this review the developer responded quickly. Turns out it's a known bug, and an upgrade fixed it. 😄 Great service.
5 ★I love it! It works smoothly, no ads, everything always saves, anf I can have as many different journals as I want.
