Description

Calendar Droid is a calendar application that works with all the calendars on your device (such as Google Calendar, Exchange, Facebook, Birthdays, etc.)

The philosophy behind this app is a calendar that is easy to use, clean, intuitive, and highly customizable.

FEATURES:
• Month View / Week View / Day View / Agenda View / Weeks View
• View events
• Add/edit events
• Settings to customize (many options for customization)
• Holo themed

PAID VERSION ONLY (Calendar Droid)
• Advanced recurrence/repeating rules like bi-weekly (choose 'Weekly' to show more options), etc.
• Copy/paste of events
• Preview on color settings
• (**Android 3+ only**) Agenda widget (**Android 3+ only**)
• Select which calendars to show
• Change default reminder time

FUTURE PAID VERSION ONLY FEATURES:
**** THESE ARE NOT IN THE VERSION YET
• Localization (more languages)
• Change calendar colors
• Search events
• Color themes
• More widgets

Remember: You have to synchronize the calendars to your device for them to show up.

PERMISSIONS:
• READ CONTACT DATA
If you have any guests (or attendees) on an event and you have that person in your contacts the app will read information from that contact and show it when viewing an event. The contact picture will show up and then clicked will take you to the default "contact clicked" scenario. I know this permission looks bad together with internet access but I do not store nor send any contact info. Only contacts that are guests to viewed events are read.

• READ CALENDAR EVENTS
This should be obvious. Read the description again and see if you can spot what this is used for ;)

• ADD OR MODIFY CALENDAR EVENTS AND SEND EMAIL TO GUESTS
Again, this should be obvious. Calendar Droid needs to change your calendar events. Sending emails to guests is done when putting email addresses in the "guest" box when creating an event.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Calendar Droid Free
5 ★Great design! Functional and nice working!
5 ★Nice app :)
5 ★Perfect
5 ★The most recent update today (ver 1.5.25) didn't allow the app to open. I emailed the developer and received an immediate response asking some clarification. Within minutes, the developer informed me of another update 1.5.50. Now, just waiting for the update to appear on here. Keeping my fingers crossed. Until now, this app had 2 thumbs up and 5 stars from me.
1 ★The latest update has crashed when trying to open the app. Pls fix it. It's been good otherwise.
1 ★Crahes when opening an appointment. Update: now the goddamned thing won't open at all!!
5 ★Finally, I found a good looking and very useful calendar app. I highly recommend it to others who are not satisfied with the standard cal app. I'll definitely upgrade to paid version when there will be a widget for Android 2.*, the option of changing calendar colors, and/or event search! PS: Where is the alternative date/time chooser? It worked for me in the beginning but now it's back to the standard one. I really liked the other one!
1 ★The important features only if you buy the paid version...
5 ★Lot of controls in customizing appearance. But flip up/down without animation effect.
4 ★Basically ICS Calender but more customizable I think. Only thing I can find wrong is that I can't turn off the "holiday Calender".
2 ★What's with this dumb 24hr only when creating an appointment? Add am/PM option. And why can't I scroll up/down in day view? People do tend to do things before 8am and after 11PM. These are just dumb things to have overlooked.
