This release is all about notifications!You can now control notifications per pet. For example, you can have your neighbor's dog in your app and turn off prompts to walk them or charge their Whistle battery.
Journaling has been a huge hit. You can now receive a reminder to journal on a schedule you choose.
Finally, notifications for non-critical things will now only come during the daytime.

1 ★The android release is buggy. App keeps crashing while trying to set up a new whistle so I'm not able to set up and use the whistle.
2 ★I dont like this updated version of the app. It takes to long to start and end pet session. It also doesnt let me see the daily route that hes taken. Is there any way to uninstall the updates??? Hate it

4 ★Works great with these exceptions: Unfortunately my router is pretty powerful in terms of overall Wi-Fi strength. It takes either reducing the power output or the possibility that an escape isn't noticed for quite some time/distance because the device is still connected to the home wi-fi. Perhaps one of the engineers has an idea how to remedy the situation. Additionally, sometimes data is lost and not transmitted to the server for my pet's activity and things like scratching / sleeping.
1 ★Notifications settings don't save and revert to all notifications so you get bombarded with notifications you don't want or you can turn them all the way off but then you don't get escape alerts. Also I have multiple safe locations and it will say my dog is randomly at different safe locations. For a product you buy plus a monthly operating fee should be flawless.
1 ★I have two and the location doesn't work on either one....tells me he's a mile away when he's in the floor sleeping then when I want to find him its having trouble
2 ★The customer service personnel are very friendly and mostly knowledgeable. The review is for the service and the device. We were using the Whistle 3 device but the battery was draining very quickly. We thought that upgrading to the new Whistle Go Explore would be a good answer to the battery issue. The battery lasts a good amount of time but it doesn't track our pet! She has a new, unrelated, bad behavior issue related to her invisible fence. She's been breaking out a lot and we have tried to rely on the Whistle to help us locate her. The new Whistle Go Explore wasn't catching any of her breakouts! They lasted more than 10 minutes and with a 3 minute refresh rate - it still wasn't working. I wanted to go back to the old Whistle 3 but I have been told by Cust Svc that their system doesn't allow me to "downgrade" and that I must cancel the subscription I had and start another one for a whole year. Nope. I'm going to shop for a new one. What product out there doesn't allow you to "go backwards". Stupid.
1 ★The fact that you can't manually override the power save mode is a huge failing. I have watched my husky take off from our back door twice now when he's bolted after an animal, and while attempting to chase him down, I have to wait 5 minutes for the tracker to realize he is no longer in the range of my home wi-fi before I can even ask it to track him. Any dog could be well over a mile from home before the tracker wakes up. Please add a way to manually override powersave mode.
