Description

With Tap Log it is easy to maintain a record of statistics such as work tasks, weight, drinks or anything else you want to keep track of. Categories are customizable and allow you to generate well-formatted log entries in seconds of quantities, text notes, gps locations, and more. You can even log directly from the home-screen with home-screen widgets.

Event categories are set up in advance to minimize the interaction required to log events as they happen in real-time. A set of charts are included that include daily sum, average, min, max, time of day, streak, and more.

Tap Log has been used to track mood, habits, calories, coffee intake, water and alcohol intake, height, vitamins, basic workouts, and much more. Apart from health and fitness, people use Tap Log's GPS and e-mail features for law enforcement, trucking mileage, expense tracking, and real estate logging. Tap Log helps some users run their small businesses.

Tap Log makes it easy to log quickly so you can focus on more important things in life.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

5 ★A few years ago, after extensive trial and error I concluded that Taplog was best Quantified Self tool on Android. Self tracking has become even more popular since then but Taplog still the best. It's simple, adaptable & user friendly. Thanks.
3 ★Need to be able to have one item with sub items. Example, logging neighbor noise: parent item is neighbor noise, sub items are tv, arguing, very loud, simply audible. On some occasions, the selection would be, neighbor noise, tv, simply audible. Make sense? Doesn't track what I need.
2 ★I've searched for months for such an app, and just found this one by accident. Very powerful and easy to use. However, in app purchases for full functionality are offensively expensive, thus I've deleted it!
2 ★Almost useless. Limited to one variable. IE, can't have more than a singlenumerical value per entry. If they would allow the addition of fields itcould be a good app. Also, it silently grabs your contacts.
4 ★Would buy the paid version if I knew how. Sent an email to the one listed on the website but it came back undelivered. Need to be able to have multiple users all using the same folder activity setup without having to have each one create them all on their phones manually maybe via some sort of profile or config file added to their phone. The pricing for icons etc is out of line though. But I would pay for customization as mentioned above.
4 ★Missing a time-interval specialized button type. The payment model is a bit annoying (what if I want to create my own icons?) but understandable
3 ★The ability to add custom colors and icons would be my next request. Your icon packages do not meet my needs and the color palette is not appealing. The addition of extra tiers is a big plus. Manual & Auto backup at $1.95 per month to backup to my Google Drive is unfeasible. If they were providing the space I could see that. To have the ability to backup to my storage space is maybe a one time charge.
2 ★There are now enough free levels (3) for the app to be useful. Upgrade to the 4th level is $5. That is expensive and does not even unlock the whole app! If you want further levels you must pay even more. Auto-backup is $1.95 PER MONTH! Developer: you'd make more money on total sales by unlocking the whole thing for a low cost--most highly successful apps are $1.99 to $3.99 to unlock ALL and auto-back to one's own phone. Offensive pricing is slashing your user base.
5 ★Can even group various exercise buttons together under one button, so can see charts for individual exercise or for all exercises. The accumulated chart is also useful for checking whether you are reaching goal. Easy to record. Easy to analyse. Motivational. Thanks. Is it possible to reset accumulated to 0 for next goal?
4 ★Would be great if there was a widget to show latest log: I use taplog to track certain variables, it also now a few things, such as "most important thing today", which I want to show on my home screen. Also, I would probably pay if you could graph two variables together and maybe even do a simple regression analysis!
4 ★This app's user defined buttons & widgets makes tracking really easy. It seems customizable enough to suit most people's needs, and has expansions to help out those who need more.
4 ★This is a simple logger that tracks, events, frequencies, txt notes, etc. Shows several charts: daily, weekly, mo., time of day histogram. I've actually used this for at least 3 years and the dev has made good improvements. I wish it could also show stats like avg frequency, median, mean, st.dev, etc. Export to csv if you need to track multi-var correlations.
