Dia dilahirkan di daerah Blitar, Surabaya pada tanggal 6 juni 1901 dengan memiliki nama asli yaitu Koesno Sosrodiharjo, dikarenakan sering mengalami sakit-sakitan maka namanya diganti menjadi Soekarno. Beliau mempunyai kedua orang tua, Ayahnya bernama Raden Soekemi Sosrodihardjon dan ibunya bernama Ida Ayu Nyoman Rai. Ketika semasa hidup, Ir. Soekarno ini sudah diketahui memiliki istri sebanyak tiga orang yang masing-masing telah memberikannya keturunan. Istrinya yang kesatu memiliki nama Fatmawati dengan memberikan beliau anak sebanyak 5 orang yaitu Megawati,Sukmawati, Guntur, Rachmawati dan GUruh. Kemudian untuk istrinya yang lainnya memiliki nama Hartini dengan memberikannya dua akan yakni Bayu dan Taufan.Fitur :
