「健康運動実践指導者」とは？
健康運動実践指導者は、第2次国民健康づくり運動（アクティブ80ヘルスプラン）の一環として、平成元（1989）年に養成が開始されました。「積極的な健康づくりを目的とした運動を、安全かつ効果的に実践指導できる能力を有すると認められる者」と定義されており、運動生理学や機能解剖学、栄養学をはじめとした医学的な基礎知識に加えて、健康づくりのための運動指導の知識と技能を持ち、健康づくりを目的として作成された運動プログラムに基づいて実践指導を行うことができる者を指します。 現在、2万人を超える健康運動実践指導者が、全国のフィットネスクラブ、診療所、介護・福祉施設、保健所、学校等で活躍しています。
