Description

Orthodox Calendar in English.

Displays the full calendar of feasts and saints, as well as fasting and period of the year information, for any day, past and future. Links to daily readings of the Ohrid Prologue and an online calendar are also provided. Optionally, navigate to any day, past or future, on a date basis or in regard to the paschal period.

Includes a nice looking widget for your homescreen.

Does not require internet connection, so it will display the feast, or the saints of the day, even if you are on Sinai or Mount Athos :-)

One should not rely too much on the fasting info displayed, talk to your priest instead.

Includes notifications about tomorrow's saints/feasts.

Calendar style (old/new calendar) is configurable.

*The application was made free through the generosity of the pious Orthodox Christians, please mention them in your prayers: Vladimir, Vladimir, Tatiana, Viachelsav and the reposed Ivan.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★I'm so glad to have this app back. I use it daily and I've missed having it on my phone since it was removed from the app store. The link for the Prologue readings is back up and running which makes my day! Thank you so much for bringing this English version of the app back.
5 ★Please send out update! "The great 20th-century Athonite elder Ephraim of Katounakia was canonized by the Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Constantinople at its session on March 9, together with Elder Joseph the Hesychast and Elder Daniel of Katounakia. His first feast day since his glorification was celebrated on Sunday, September 6, including with a hierarchical Divine Liturgy in his home village of Ampelocori, in the south-central Thebes prefecture, reports the Orthodoxia News Agency."
4 ★This has been terrific, but I have to ask which timezone foes the calendar follow? I realised that it does not keep up to date to my timezone.
4 ★I love it!
