JOVRNALISM is a virtual reality production studio that creates diverse, immersive journalism experiences. Created in 2015 by Robert Hernandez, a digital professor at USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, the hackathon-style courses have produced pieces ranging from roller derby to storm surges.We have partnered with news organizations including ProPublica, The Texas Tribune, The Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR) and many more.
We have also received support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Liquid Cinema, Samsung, Google News Lab, Mettle and Radiant Images among others.
