A Pousada Ouricuri está localizada na Vila do Guaiú, a 18 quilômetros da Praia de Santo André, ambas pertencentes à Santa Cruz Cabrália.Após uma caminhada de aproximadamente 25 minutos ou apenas 05 minutos de automóvel ou motocicleta, o hospede encontrará uma praia semideserta e tranquila com areias claríssimas e mar de tons esverdeados.
Belmonte (a 30 km), Santa Cruz Cabrália (a 20 km) e Porto Seguro (a 45 km) são cidades históricas que ficam nas proximidades da Vila do Guaiú.
Além de apartamentos simples, mas muito aconchegantes, o interior da pousada guarda um belo jardim onde ao amanhecer e entardecer é possível ver de perto diversos pássaros sobrevoando plantas e árvores.
A Pousada também dispõe de sala de leitura e serviços de bar e restaurante.
O Povoado do Guaiú fica um km distante da praia, na vila podemos encontrar lanchonetes nativas que servem sucos de frutas nativas e deliciosos pasteis de marisco, além de restaurantes, bares e sorveteria.
A Locomoção é realizada geralmente através de caminhada e de bicicleta, não existe transporte público dentro da Vila.
O translado para as cidades vizinhas é realizado por vans ou ônibus coletivo, que geralmente transitam de uma e uma hora.
Após 20 minutos de ônibus, a travessia para Santa Cruz Cabrália é realizada de balsa, sobre o Rio João de Tiba.
