How to install OnePlus File Manager APK on Android phone or tablet?

1 ★After the last update the app does not open up any more, I've sent the crash report to oneplus company several times. The person who responded the reviews in play store keep saying "Please send more information about the problem and send it to bla bla bla bla". You guys should know what is happening with ur apps, not US. Please fix it ASAP.

1 ★After the last update many hidden photos won't open, showing up the "Couldn't load photo" message. The same files open normally when moved out the hidden folder, and the problem disappears uninstalling the app updates. Deleting data and cache, or restarting the phone, was of no use.
1 ★I tried signing a pdf document using DocuSign and it always gives me an error that says 'error retrieving file'. It wasn't a problem before the recent update. Luckily, I could use Files to upload the document. Smooth OS has been OnePlus strength but I'm unsure if I want to keep using OnePlus if the basic stuff keeps breaking.
5 ★as a file manager, this app has all the basic needs, plus OnePlus's proprietary FileDash file sharing feature. For the sake of faster performance, the mechanism of moving/copying files have to be more convenient, meaning to keep the screen at the folder in which the files at instead of going back to the storage menu, the same should go for Lock Box.

1 ★The very first thing, how come an app can be released without proepr testing. Very 😢. If you don't have time to fix the issue..atleast replace the new app with old working version in playstore. I am wondering a basic system app is not working, one plus team is not even care about users. Not even thinking about alternatives. Atleast upload old working version in playstore, till latest version comes with bug free.
1 ★RESOLUTION ON THE RECENT UPDATE: Don't try clearing cache or data. Just go to settings>customisations and change the theme to 'vibrant tints' from the 'preset themes' option. This will definitely work. I discovered it by sheer chance. All your data including favorites and lockbox will stay intact. But hopefully OnePlus soon finds a way to legitly solve this issue.
1 ★The app crashes on startup, I've submitted bug reports alongside many others from the looks of these reviews and still not heard anything back. This has been broken since the 15th of December, I would try a reinstall but that means I'll lose my lockbox contents.
2 ★App opens and works but background is white and so are folders and texts, so I can't see what I'm doing. Clearing cache and force stopping don't help. Version 2.6.4
