Smart Glasses permet mostrar textos i efectes visuals en unes ulleres Macetech LED Matrix Shades equipades amb un adaptador Bluetooth HC-05.Smart Glasses està adreçat a 3 perfils d’usuari diferents :
COMUNICACIÓ : Persones amb dificultats o discapacitat per a comunicar-se verbalment a causa de trastorns en la parla o mudesa, o bé persones que no volen que la seva veu real sigui identificada. Es pot escriure qualsevol text, però s’incorporen diverses frases predeterminades que permeten interactuar ràpidament sense haver d’usar el teclat del telèfon mòbil. Aquestes frases s’agrupen en diferents categories (salutació, presentació, conversa, conformitat i disconformitat). La categoria de presentació es completa amb frases que inclouen dades personals prèviament enregistrades per l’usuari.
INFORMACIÓ : La persona que porta les ulleres pot mostrar informacions d’interès diverses, com ara el dia i hora, o l’estat del temps atmosfèric en la ubicació actual (Weather Underground). També pot mostrar els titulars de diferents seccions de la premsa del dia (Diari Ara, The Guardian o The New York Times). La informació s'obté a partir de APIs o fils RSS dels diferents serveis.
OCI : Ideal per a convertir-se en el centre d’atenció en locals d’oci, mostrant efectes visuals divertits, com ara cors que bateguen, equalitzadors gràfics, efectes de pluja… Aquest perfil permet mostrar qualsevol text escrit per l’usuari o bé, de forma més sorprenent, parlat directament en el mòbil. També es poden mostrar acudits breus. Aquest perfil està adreçat a gent jove.
