How to install YouTube Music APK on Android phone or tablet?

1 ★They say that the purpose of Television is to get you to watch more Television. Well the purpose of this app is to get you to use your cellular data and to sell you more ads. Everything is geared towards streaming and away from your uploads and files on your device. In a word, it Sucks!
1 ★Not a real app. Just a shortcut into the music section in the YouTube app, which does NOT do what a YouTube Music app should do. It doesn't have the same functionality as the YouTube Music mobile app, or the Google Play Music app on Android TV. Do NOT retire Google Play Music until you have functional parity on all platforms, including Android TV.
1 ★Wow, this really is shocking! As Google are forcing me over to YouTube Music, I thought I'd better check it out to see just how annoying it's actually going to be.... I didn't read the reviews for this before installing it - I was surprised it even existed, given the Android TV play store wasn't listing it - and it really is taking the p*** It's bad enough that Google force this change on us, but as usual, Android TV is sorely neglected. Google - either just kill Android TV off already, or actually DO SOMETHING with it! I've been trying to use it for so many years now, and it really hasn't improved much over that time at all - WTH are you playing at?
1 ★This is not a solution. It's not even an app. Google should be ashamed for creating this and whoever approved it should probably find a new line of work. YouTube Music needs a full app for Android TV with full parity with Play Music. If that doesn't happen I'll be switching my paying subscription to Spottily.
2 ★Google Music had better functionality, and you could manage playlists and play music in Random. I dont understand why features are getting removed, when shuffle is a basic option for any music player. Ironically, the phone app has shuffle play availible. I hope this improves fast
1 ★Preprare for supreme dissapiontment with this app. We are kicked off google play music, which while it had bugs, it worked well. Now we get an app that does not support your music upload library. Is Google doing this to push us into a third party app, because YT music is a joke.

I have been in contact with support on other matters and no resolutions. Other than keep sending feedback. I wish a representative from Google or anyone could explain why they did not start with the base that Google Play Music is and add to it what people have asked for?? 1 ★Unnecessary app at this point. Only a shortcut. Doesn't allow background music play on Android TV because it is just short cutting to the traditional YouTube app. What a joke considering that play music is being killed in a month for my country (South Africa)
