Once the child’s iPhone or Android device is paired via the Verizon Smart Family companion app, the parent app can configure parental controls (iPads aren’t currently supported). If enrolled in Smart Family Premium, the parent app can also monitor location and driving history – for either a driver or a passenger.

1 ★If I could give 0 stars I would! This app is suppose to give the parent control over the device to help protect and regulate the child's usage but the VPN connection can be shut off with one click making the app COMPLETLY USELESS!!! I want the GIZMO tablet back that had true child protection on the device for younger children... Parents with teenagers could NEVER use this app. I want to be able to set a limit or restriction and it STAY but my 5 year old knows how to shut it off ...USELESS!!!!
1 ★The app itself is fine, but my mom is convinced she had time restrictions only from 10pm to 6am. Now I believe her when she says she set them to that, but the app doesn't. The app is always trying to restrict my phone at unessacery times. Like 9am on a weekend. Plus it glitches all the time which can land a kid in serious trouble if they have strict parents. Overall, please do us some good and get this app off the app store.

1 ★The new uptade is terrible. It made it harder to use, it doesn't update, it's inaccurate on locations, it's a waste of time and money. So frustrating.
1 ★Blocks everything. It blocked me from using google. Also, it kept randomly deleting itself. my mom asked me a few times to download the app again, and it was just gone. Defeats the point of a phone.

3 ★I'm a child, and of course I don't like it, but it makes sense as to why you may need it on your phone. The things that I'm not pleased with at all are the internet/mobile data turn off. Mine keeps changing the time that it turns off. Also, it won't turn off sometimes when my parents try to turn it off from their devices and mine. I also don't like how it is causing problems with some of my phone functions. It won't let me text some people at times and won't let me send any kind of pictures or MMS. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is. I wish that it functioned better and didn't mess with basic phone functions. I hope you fix this so it works more smooth and correctly. Thank you!
1 ★I found it on my phone. I never installed it! I have no idea when or who installed it. I clicked uninstall but not sure if its been truly uninstalled. I changed my settings and password protected my phone something I've never had to do. My husband swears he never put it on my phone. I click on details but it doesn't tell me when it was installed only when it was updated.
