1 ★This app does NOT work. The directions do Not match the app either. There is no "add rf" when you click "other" & there is no option to "program" when you click "edit" per the directions. It is unacceptable & needs to be fixed immediately!!

1 ★Does not work with Google Home / Nest as advertised. The app breaks everytime the connection code is copied.

1 ★So disappointed. Stay away. For such a high price of the shades I expected a seamless pairing experience and was looking forward to it. The hub won't go into pairing mode. No matter how many times I connect/disconnect it or try to reset it. The app won't pair to the hub. The customer service rep just told me I have to have a remote and the hub won't work without the remote first. Where does it say that?? Also, S&N allowed me to order the blinds without a remote. The rep didn't sound so sure and just kept telling me that he would ship me a remote. Their entire process is less than half-baked and now I have blinds that are installed but completely dysfunctional as I'm unable to raise them. A completely blacked out room until I receive the remote. Certainly will be taking my money elsewhere for next purchase, and I have a lot of windows in my house that need new window treatments.

1 ★In short, the Smith and Noble smart shades experience is extremely disappointing given how expensive they are. Channel 1 of the smart hub does not work at all. The documentation on the website is out of date and does not match the current version of the app. The hub does not work at the advertised 85 feet. Setting a scene to "Favorite" does not work (it stops the shade). Editing scenes is overly complex, if you need to add/remove something it's best to delete the scene and start over.

1 ★New Smart Hub will not pair w app. Had to delete/reload app. Used 'export' feature to save prior settings but there is no way to import settings after reset. Terrible instructions and support. Would not use this app or vendor.

1 ★Worthless, can't pair with Alexia. Overpaid and the support is even worse

1 ★First - app fails to actually communicate with the hub it just paired. It successfully gets the hub on the network (it gets an IP, can be pinged from other devices) but after "pairing successfully" the app crashes and re-launching it just goes back to user and device setup. Second: There is no reason why this app should require/query my location at all times, nor a need to have access to all storage/media on my device, yet it will not run without these permissions.

1 ★DO NOT GET INVOLVED IN THIS SYSTEM. After purchasing $8000 in shades I have come to learn that the system DOES NOT work with Google assistant or home, and many of my shades don't respond to the app. Phone support and even the installer I paid for is not at all familiar with setup.
