Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★Downloaded app in hopes of keeping family members informed during severe weather. App closes when attempting the addition of contacts. Closes when attempting to share status as well.
1 ★Installed on the galaxy s10e. Can't find the app on my phone, and when I try to open it from the app store its a no show!
4 ★It has everything included on my phone. The evacuation route map shows but if it was an actual flood than there would be an evacuation route. Nobody is going to know a evacuation route unless there is a flood ( to the not so smart guy below) lol. Only reason not a 5 star is on home page it has all non E's and Emergency numbers besides MCSD. We all know 911 but not the non emergency line? But over all 4 star app! It Will be a five star before long!
4 ★Well, I read the previous reviews, but decided to give the app a try to see if the issues from yesterday had been resolved. It appears that they have. The app is up and running on my Moto Z Play Droid. I gave them a 4/5 because it is obviously still an app in it's early stages of development. I found that it does not support paste from my clipboard and it does switch very slowly from one section to the next. It also does not support "swipe" entry of text, nor does it support auto suggest. However, I tried all of the areas of the app, and they all seem to work.
1 ★Broken on s8+ requires 28 mb download that cant connect regardless of network. I assume they host that data locally for some reason...
1 ★There is no updates on road conditions, evacuations or anything else. Just says flash flood and has a map with spots for shelters, but not for what is flooded, closed roads nothing
1 ★Same as Tyler won't open on s7, says it needs to download data and then locks up. Just in time for the hurricane...
1 ★I downloaded it and my phone froze up, then told me that I was not connected to internet.
1 ★Won't download the needed data. Glad it's not an actual emergency yet. And update your release notes. Williamson county ?
1 ★28mb will not download on startup
