Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

2 ★Great content, awful app. App requires device location to operate, otherwise every time you open a story, it first errors out and takes you to App Info. That is bad programming as it assumes you will give up your location. Had to uninstall. 5-star content, 1 star app...so it gets a 2.
4 ★I definitely appreciate and benefit from the thorough news investigative reporting from the conservative worldview team that is The Daily Caller Foundation (TDCF). The app on Android though needs to address this annoying and time-consuming glitch: my pressing/selecting a news notification rarely takes me directly to that item's detail. I have to scroll past MANY other items before finally finding the sought-for item.
3 ★I want to like this app. Good articles. But an opened story repeatedly jumps to the bottom of page and I have to keep scrolling back up, making stories frustratingly unreadable. Its like a race to read before I lose my place. Uninstalled and reinstalled but didn't fix problem.
2 ★Enjoyed it at first then I noticed there is no "settings" to change notification settings. Or anything for that matter. Finally the straw that broke me was that as i would go to read a story and in the middle there is "read more here" link. Link NEVER passed to remainder of story. Not worth the bandwidth..
2 ★Better than old version, but they have paywall articles that cause a 'badge' popup. When you go to the app to clear notifications, you can't delete articles because they are behind the paywall. My app has articles 4 weeks old, but I can't delete.. THEREFORE, I keep getting a 'badge' popup for old articles.
1 ★Love Daily Caller. Hate the app. The ads jump the screen to the bottom of the article constantly. Can't finish reading an article because the auto-scroll to the ad. Just deleted. Also, when I click on an alert to read the article, I have to go hunt for the article. The alert doesn't take me to the article I was alerted to.
2 ★The app provides all the high quality Daily Caller content you would expect, but the advertisements are out of control. Every 30 seconds a new ad is blaring through your speakers even if you muted the last one. I had to uninstall the app unfortunately.
3 ★I would've given it 5 stars, but every time I read an article, within a few seconds, it jumps down to the ad. So, i have to scroll back up to where i left off. Then, it jumps back down again to the ad, and the vicious cycle continues.
1 ★Uninstalling - see ya. Latest update DID NOT fix the problem. Since your latest update - app crashes. Please list your News feed in chronological order. Frustrating to have to scroll through the feed to find the stories of the day after the stories of yesterday.
1 ★I think that when you put a story on your app we should be able to read article. When you are forced to click on the "read on". If you click the read on tab you should be able to read on. i clicked "read on" fifty time only to get " read on" all fifty times. NOT GOOD. I deleted drudge for exactly the same reason. I don't click on it. Why when your patriots app pop up do i have to shut app down to make it go away???????....
2 ★Love the news source but the app crashes all the time, also double posts the same articles over and over again. Why do you need my location all the time to work? If I disable the permission then the app stops working (what little bit it actually works).
1 ★While I like the content, I hate the fact your app seemingly needs my location and asks for that permission incessantly. Open the app, it asks for location permission. Tap on am article, it asks for location permission. Change articles, it asks for location permission. You don't need my location and you're not getting it. Fix that and I'll change my review.
