Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Isn't it high time to implement some DARK MODE? Some white text on Grey / white text on black options? Edit: Experimental Dark Mode available
1 ★Quality of content deteriorated noticeably since Brexit and Trump's presidency, possibly due to the need of appeasing far-right leaning public in UK and US.
1 ★Subscription via the app doesn't work and support just fob you off rather than bother to investigate the issue
5 ★Easy to use. Renders photos at a suitable size for mobile.
5 ★Informative with very good coverage on all matters and trending issues.
5 ★Excellent insight. As a teacher the range of ideas is very useful
3 ★Insists on opening chrome despite my default browser being Firefox. Can't block covid content.
5 ★No issues, let's me access articles and portfolio when on the move
5 ★Better than all other news apps. Better functionality and better reporting.
4 ★Overall, great app and experience. FT content is always top-notch, and the app does justice to the quality of the same. App navigation is smooth, but some portions could get slower, e.g. comments. Likewise, the recent update has made "downloading latest stories" a pain, as it keeps doing so in the background, and there is no way to stop it. Also, would be good if we could make latest stories refreshed automatically on the home screen instead of manually clicking on the refresh button.
4 ★Content good...changing stories clunky.
4 ★My main complaint is the search function. The ft is really a rich research resource that is unnervingly locked up due to a search engine that has extremely limited capabilities. Also saving and organizing articles in my ft is not very user-friendly
