Esta aplicación ha sido desarrollada como un software de ayuda para calcular transformadores de corriente para medida y protección, chequeo de transformadores calculados y manual de consulta de tablas y diagramas de transformadores de corriente para encontrar la información de un TC de medida o protección.Esta aplicación permite hacer un cálculo muy aproximado de un CT para medida y protección de tal forma que este no se sature ante una falla de cortocircuito y además selecciona el TC más óptimo de acuerdo a la información de entrada.
Como resultados presenta todo el desarrollo de cálculo y graficas de tensiones que desarrollaría el TC de acuerdo a los datos de entrada.
La metodología es aplicable para las normas ANSI e IEC y nos arroja el TC con la mejor relación en el primario, el burden del TC más óptimo y la clase del TC (Cxxx o xxPyy).
La Aplicación Transformadores de Corriente, es muy sencilla de manipular, guía al usuario en la entrada de datos y le arroja todo el desarrollo que le permite incorporarlo en una memoria de cálculo que sustenta la selección de los TC´s. Además los diagramas de tensiones es una muy buena ayuda para optimizar aún más la selección de los TCs.
Adicionalmente posee una opción adicional que le permite al usuario seleccionar un TC de medida únicamente, si el usuario va a utilizar el TC únicamente para medida
