Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Very handy app to keep track of your books.
5 ★I am a Readerware user for a great many years however this app needs to be upgraded especially when it comes to scanning and search. I recently upgraded my phone and it came with Android version 10 and I can upgrade it to 11 but the scanning properties will not work with this phone at this time, I can however use the search and scan manually and that works just fine all bit a little bit slower to see if I have a duplicate in my library before I buy a book.
1 ★Any time my screen times turns, or I change screens from the Readerware, the list I was uploading vanishes and I have to rescan everything.
5 ★I've been using Readerware on my PC forever and the mobile apps are a godsend for checking whether I already own a book, video, or recording. Email support is quick, helpful, and open to suggestions for improvement. In short, the cataloging software I've seen. A great feature is the ability, on the PC, to drag and drop Amazon and Audible URLs, especially for eBooks and audiobooks where there is no ISBN or ASIN to scan.
5 ★Great for keeping track of your books (& music & videos) I have been using it since the palm version but you do need to have the main program purchased for on your computer
1 ★"The easiest, fastest" nope not at all. Couldn't even work it. Rubbish app.
5 ★This isn't a standalone app. You need Readerware on your computer. This will display a version of your database on your mobile device. Works fine on my Nexus 9 tablet and Samsung 4 phone. It's handy to check while I'm at a used book sale to see if I already have what I'm looking at. I keep Readerware on my desktop and can instantly connect and update my portable devices via WiFi.
5 ★Terrific app, consistent updates and excellent support.
5 ★I have been using Readerware for books, music and video for years on my home computer. I also previously used the mobile app that worked on Palm Pilot, but wasn't never really satisfied with that version. I really like the new android version. Found it real easy to set-up and transfer my databases after installing the apps on my Moto G. The databases transferred fairly quickly using my home WiFi. The only problem I am working on is trying to store the databases on the microSD in my phone. They are not too big - 4000 books (48MB), 1100 CDs (14MB) and 212 DVDs (3.5MB), but due to the limited size of the internal memory I would like to use the SD to store them.
4 ★Ignore my previous review, when I said that this app "invites everyone in your Gmail contact list." which was written against the LinkedIn app, but somehow inadvertently got applied as my review to this fine app-suite. These Readerware apps for books, video's and CD's are all working nicely. My only complaint is that the documentation for how to set up the Readerware server on a 24/7 PC or Mac for all three types of databases are not documented very well. And to make it more confusing, the help on their web site conflicts with the help that ships with the suite of Readware apps (with regards to the various TCP/UDP ports for accessing either of these three types of databases, from mobile or from another Readerware installation on another PC or Mac). Also, this complaint has nothing to do with setting the Readerware server so that these three network ports can be accessed outside of a firewall, by a mobile device running these Android apps, or from an external instance of the PC or Mac Readerware apps. I would not expect this company to help with that aspect of remote access to these databases, but that would have been also nice to have.
