香港音樂專科學校(簡稱「香港音專」)乃全港歷史最悠久的音樂院校。香港音專的前身「基督教中國聖樂院」由邵光先生於1950年創辦，自創校以來，為香港音樂界培養了不少優秀的音樂人才。香港音專的特色是有教無類，歡迎有志進修音樂、接受紮實而全面音樂訓練的同學入讀。本校在課程設計上亦富彈性，以滿足不同年齡和水平學生的需要。夜間「文憑/證書課程」
本課程是為有志從事音樂專業的人士而設，提供全面而紮實的音樂訓練，中西音樂並重，旨在培養具技術及修養的音樂專門人才，共開設八個學系，分為五大類別：
1. 作曲系：培養作曲專業人才。
2. 演奏 / 演唱學系（鍵盤樂器系、聲樂系、管弦樂器系、中樂系）：培養演奏、演唱的專業人才。
3. 聖樂系：培養聖樂專業人才。
4. 音樂教育系：培養音樂教育專業人才。
5. 指揮系：培養指揮專業人才。
日間證書課程
課程強調理論與實踐並重。學員除了學習演奏或演唱外，並修習音樂理論、音樂分析及音樂歷史的課程。修畢此課程後，學員除了在演奏或演唱水平方面有所提升外，亦能建立有系統及富啟發性的教學方法。
個別/小組課程
課程以個別/小組形式上課，由初級至文憑級，包括鋼琴、管弦樂、聲樂、管風琴、中國樂器、樂理、作曲、視唱練耳、中學文憑音樂科補習等。課程師資雄厚，每一位導師均為本港或海外大學、大專、音樂院校之畢業生，或持英國皇家音樂學院、英國倫敦聖三一學院教師或演奏文憑。
