Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Great idea. Terrible execution. There was one sign at my local Target. The staff had no idea where or if there were others. The instructions in the app imply there would be 3 separate QR codes in specific locations. There was only one in the store. And not even the one that gives you a Pokemon. Frustrated, I decided to leave all of the Unbroken Bonds and Detective Pikachu cards in the aisle and left. I'm not playing this ridiculous "game."
1 ★The app does not work. I tried to boot it up but nothing happens. It will show a spinning circular loading thing like a lot of apps do, but then stops. I'm trying to get the shiny GameStop exclusive legendaries oh, but on the occasion I do get it to work it won't access the camera. I have checked and I do have the app allowing for the camera to be accessed, but it does not work.
1 ★I just downloaded so I could get the Gigantimax Copperaja, but after going through everything I couldn't even find the code scanning setting. Uninstalled instantly.
1 ★Total failure. (Writeing this the day the solgalo and lunala promotion started, oct 21) I went to a local game stop for the recent promotion. This store was located inside of a mall witch may have messed up the gps location tracking. The clearks were as helpful as they could be, but in the end the blame lies solely with the app maker. Game Freak, if you're reading this, go back to the physical scratch cards to distrubuite codes. Your app has failed 2 promotions now!
2 ★I find this an odd way for them to start giving out the codes since you have to visit the locations anyway. Also, when I was getting the Nov 5-14th code, I had to connect to Best Buy's public wifi jusf so I could scan the qr code. There is no manual way to activate the qr scanner unless it registers you at that location and if your device's gps can't register you properly you're screwed. Gonna miss collecting the code cards. Using Samsung S7 Edge btw.
1 ★I've had this app for a while now and I can firmly say that this app has became useless. No further support was given to it leading up to the release of Pokemon Sword/Shield. It now just collects dust. Good going, Pokemon, on creating a now worthless app.
1 ★Used to have its bugs and glitches but was still tolerable. Now it won't even open no matter what I do (and this phone is brand new, unlike my old s7) .....makes me wonder what the matter is here. Regardless, can't even get past the logo and an occasional loading wheel, so I'm gonna have to knock down another star. Would give it zero if I could, at this rate. Real shame too, I adore Pokémon with all my heart :(
1 ★Ok i legit never felt the need to to complain about an app before. But, this app is a mrss you need an account to useit, the TOS is on a website. The app itself doesnt tell ya how to do Anything, and ya gotta go out to get a qr code to scan....for a freaking code for the games. Cant they just cut this middle bs and directly give us a code like they always did? Do not fix what isnt broken
2 ★My first experience with an event using this app was a trainwreck. It started an hour late at the local Target, so I was standing around waiting. When it did start, the app did not register that I was in fact inside of a Target, and it took even longer for it to display the option to scan the qr code. Its been over 2 hours and between the Target shenanigans and the servers for Let's go being rubbish I still have no shiny to show for the effort invested.
1 ★The idea of the app is good, but it never lets me log in, the screen to log in hasn't shown up when I open the app since the first time I was able to actually use the app, even then it barely worked. It's just the home screen without the option to login, it's super frustrating since I haven't been able to get like any of the event Pokemon, like Lunala.
1 ★Won't open. I went to target, scanned the QR codes which in itself was a hassle. Then when I got home the app stopped working. It hangs on the loading screen. So basically I wasted a trip out of town just to have the damn app lock up. Also, if you clear the data it clears all your completed activities and you lose EVERYTHING. NOTHING is saved on the account. As much as I hated the paper codes these were far superior to this garbage.
1 ★It just doesn't work. Whenever I use the app, it is blank. When I eventually get it to work, it doesn't do anything except show the event. There is no option to use the camera. After uninstalling the app to try and fix the problem deletes all of your previous events. So if you forget to redeem the code and uninstall you will lose the code.
