Die App der Goldkammer Frankfurt ist Ihr multimedialer Ausstellungsbegleiter. Lassen Sie sich einladen zu einem Rundgang durch die Schatzräume und entdecken Sie Gold in seinen vielen Facetten. Von der geologischen Entstehung bis hin zu seiner kulturellen Bedeutung als Machtsymbol, Artefakt oder Zahlungs- und Tauschmittel: Durch die zusätzlichen Informationen und Audiospuren der App werden die ausgesuchten Exponate lebendig.Die Navigation innerhalb der App erfolgt über eine Listenansicht oder eine interaktive Übersichtskarte. Je nach Standort in der Ausstellung werden automatisch Informationen zum jeweiligen Exponat als Text oder Audiospur freigeschaltet.
Eine besondere Ausstellungserfahrung bietet die Augmented Reality-Funktion: Wird die Kamera des Smartphones während des Rundgangs auf eine der Bodenmarkierungen gerichtet, erscheint ein dreidimensionales Objekt, das von einem kindgerechten Audiomärchen rund um ein Exponat in der Nähe begleitet wird.
