NextGen 2.10.0 combines all the best features of both of Zero Motorcycles’ previous app offerings to date, with compatibility with the entire Zero Motorcycles range from 2013 forward.
App Features
Zero’s NextGen App works with the bike’s dash and Cypher II or Cypher III operating system to create a feature-rich ecosystem. Common features for these models include:
• Select and create ride modes
• Personalized dash options
•.Scheduled and target-based charging
•.Charging station location assistance
•.Extensive notifications, including state-of-charge (SOC), time-to-charge and last-ride statistics.
•.Ride data: location, speed, lean angle, power, torque, SoC, energy used/re-generated

The Connected Bike
MY20-MY21 SR/F and SR/S, and MY22-MY23 SR, SR/F and SR/S are connected through cellular networks, transmitting info to the App at all times. Ride information, current bike status and location are always available. This connectivity gives you the ability to monitor the bike in four (4) main areas: Bike Status & Alerts, Charging, Ride Data Sharing, and System Upgrades & Updates.

2 ★Bluetooth connectivity in this app is abysmal. It makes the Fitbit app seem rock solid. However, if you can connect to your bike, the app is good and useful.
2 ★The app does not alert me when the bike is unplugged, charging, etc. Gave reset several times. Additionally, please consider perhaps having the owners manual preloaded in the app for user convenience! Y'all are capable of great things!

1 ★Terrible. Idk how in 2024 that an advanced tech company cannot develop a simple app that works. Somehow, the app can't store data when it's not connected to the bike. Somehow, it also forgets the bike while connected, even when pulled over to check data....it has Bluetooth connection history, and that will tell you what bike it last connected to, but it can't store anything??? No sign in, nothing.... fortunately the bike is BA!
1 ★Really poor. App is slow clunky and inconsistent. More times than not you can't connect to the bike. If you can do an update there is no indication what is happening or if the update is completed.
1 ★Awful!!! Forgot password, pushed to have a new one sent. Never got one. Sent multiple messages to the people with the app. I got every excuse and told multiple times they were working on it. Told me they deleted my registration and for me to reregister. So I un-installed app reinstalled app and tried reregistered. It says user still exists. Emails again, again more excuses. Again told they have fixed it and to do all that again. So I did. This makes at least 12+ times. Nope not fixed
2 ★The main problem with the app is that it doesn't constantly connect to my bike, a 2023 FX with the latest fw updates. When the bike is on and you're standing next to it, pressing connect in the app should just work. 2nd issue is a needed feature, set the max charge level to maximize the life of the battery. At a minimum this could be just setting it to stop charging at 80%.
1 ★For a high tech bike this app is sorely lacking, notifications don't work - I wanna know if someone is trying to steal my bike! Setting charge targets is strangely oblique. Firmware update doesn't work. No one is updating the app and It's a ramshackle mess, a total letdown. The strange thing about zero - these should be about great tech - yet they choose tungsten indicator bulbs, a key for ignition and an app that doesn't work!
1 ★Garbage app opens my system settings and won't tell me why. I can't adjust my ride settings. I hate this company.
