Η Φιλοκαλία (εκ του φιλοκαλείν) είναι μια συλλογή κειμένων πατέρων της Ανατολικής Ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας, ησυχαστικής παράδοσης, που γράφτηκαν από τον τέταρτο έως τον δέκατο πέμπτο αιώνα περί της χριστιανικής προσευχής και της ζωής αφιερωμένης στον Θεό. Το έργο επιμελήθηκαν οι Άγιοι Νικόδημος ο Αγιορείτης και Μακάριος Νοταράς.Στην εισαγωγή της μετάφρασης της συλλογής στην Αγγλική των Palmer, Sherrard και Ware, η φιλοκαλία ορίζεται ως "αγάπη προς το κάλλος, το εξυψωμένο, το θαυμάσιο, αντιληπτό ως υπερβατική πηγή της ζωής και αποκάλυψη της αληθείας". Οι συγγραφείς των κειμένων ήσαν κυρίως μοναχοί, ο αγώνας των οποίων για νοητικό εξαγνισμό και πνευματική τελείωση επαναλαμβάνεται ως θέμα στη Φιλοκαλία.
Αν και τα έργα ήσαν ευρέως γνωστά πριν την αρχική τους έκδοση στην ελληνική γλώσσα το 1782, από τότε επανεκδόθηκαν σε πολλές γλώσσες, ανάμεσα στις οποίες περιλαμβάνεται και επτάτομη έκδοση στη Ρωσική (Dobrotolyubie) από τον Αγ. Θεοφάνη τον Ερημίτη κατά τον 19ο αιώνα. Πέραν της Βίβλου, και ορισμένων κειμένων των πρώτων χριστιανών πατέρων, η Φιλοκαλία είναι ένα έργο που ασκεί σημαντικές επιδράσεις και αποτελεί θαυμαστό παράδειγμα της ευλάβειας της ανατολικής ορθόδοξης εκκλησίας.
