岡山市内にある古民家カフェ「桃源郷」を営む 吉備桃太郎 は、
様々な理由で桃源郷に転がりこんだ３人の"ワケアリ"男子たちと騒がしくも平和で楽しい毎日を過ごしていた。
ある日、店の物陰にひっそり置かれていた招き猫をうっかり割ってしまう。
時を同じくして桃源郷の店先で記憶喪失の青年が倒れているのが発見された。
目を覚ました青年はどうやら記憶を失っているらしい。
桃太郎の祖父 真備 の話によると、記憶を失ったのは割れた招き猫と関係がありそうだ。
招き猫の呪いだとざわつく桃源郷。
責任を感じた桃太郎達は記憶喪失の青年を 白金和 と名付け、
記憶が戻るまで桃源郷で面倒を見ることにするが――。
