There are 4 different types of HealthyWage Challenges you can join through the app. Those are:
The HealthyWager
Win up to $10,000 in an individual weight loss bet. Set the terms using the Prize Calculator (you choose your weight loss goal, wager amount, etc.). Play with the calculator all you like without commitment.
$10,000 Team Challenge
Teams of five compete to win cash prizes -- first prize is $10,000.
Jackpot Challenges
Individuals and teams try to achieve specific weight loss goals to earn a share of the pot.
Step Challenge
Individuals and teams connect step devices to calculate a custom goal. Achieve the step goal and earn a share of the pot! Devices available: Google Play (Android devices), Garmin and Fitbit.

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

4 ★Chat functionality could use improvement. Would be nice to see your own lifeline support "wall." Definitely some bugs to work out, like when people comment on something, it says the post was deleted when it wasn't. HealthyWage itself is fine, but the app still needs some refinement.
5 ★My experience so far has been awesome. For some reason I am compelled to lose this weight once and for all. And to think that I was carrying around a 40 in TV or a medium weight Dog Food Bag is incredible. When you picture that extra weight on your body you wonder why you never did something before. Do something now!!
2 ★the app sucks. trying to join a different challenge, it shows the correct name and when you go pay, it shows cost and name of challenge I'm already a part of. the original challenge I joined, created team but it couldn't be seen. had to contact customer service to get my teammates added. nothing has been easy with this app

4 ★Great app! Love the support and ethusiam of others on the same journey. My only issue is I wish they were a little more flexible with adjusting the goals without having to pay. I dont need more time, I'd just rather adjust my weight loss goal even if that meant lowering the prize money.
5 ★This app works very well at keeping me accountable to my weight loss. I would urge everyone to use the challenges as a great stepping stone. There seems to be lots and lots of features here. I will be using this app as much as possible for maintenance once I get to that!
5 ★It's always great when you lose weight. But to lose weight and earn money is even better. Great motivation seeing the money you bet come out monthly. Lots of mini challenges to keep you on track as well.
1 ★BE AWARE THAT YOUR WINNINGS EXPIRE! The good news is that I joined over a year ago and did two step challenges and accomplished both. They cost me $60 each and winnings of around $30 each. So about $180 total went into my HW account and I left it there and then got busy with life and things going on in the world.. Well I signed in yesterday to look into more challenges and my money is all gone - expires after a year. Money I rightly won. Money they already got their cut of. Very disappointing
