I'm new to dieting in general, but after unintentionally gaining some weight now that I've moved into my own place (belated freshman 15) I decided I need to start being a little more conscious of my diet. So far I've lost 5 pounds just by using this app to pay attention to what I was eating. Truly 1lb/week! So easy to add food and set goals. Love the barcode scanner for adding store bought food. Great app, I'll definitely keep using it.
5 ★Wow! What an awesome app! It does most of the work for you . Recording is fast and easy using the scanner or talking into the microphone. No more stress in recording as the variety of foods it records is fantastic..eating out at restaurants couldn't be easier. The inclusion of breaking down carbs, fats and protien ,recording your water intake makes this app so complete. The daily and weekly tracking allow flexibility to the plan so you can enjoy all foods. 5 ★Love this app!! I'm on week 5 lost 6 lbs and I had a really bad food week on vacation but still logged it in. Didn't lose didn't gain. This past week I paid attention to macros and stayed w/in daily limit lost 2.5 lbs. I don't feel like I am starving myself, if I am craving something, I can eat it. I just got to make up for it somewhere w/in the week. I can feel the difference in clothes already.
5 ★I've just started but I'm really impressed. I'm using Fitbit alongside the app for fitness, and upgraded to premium because it was only 5.99. I just got my first meal plan and workout plan and I'm impressed! The food looks really easy to make, which is good because I'm a terrible cook, and it even generated a really simple and easy grocery list. This is awesome because grocery shopping is always so intimidating to me and i was worried they would want to be buy like a hundred ingredients.
5 ★I've only started using this app a few days ago but so far so good! It's easy to use, easy to understand and I actually enjoy using it. No problems, no lag. Makes short work of keeping track of what I eat. No one likes to spend a long time tracking foods and with this it's so fast and your done! keep up the great job your doing in this app. I fully plan to keep using it!
4 ★this app has worked great for me so far, when I was looking for a fitness app I wanted mostly just a place to keep track of calories and the does the job. the only reason i give 4 stars instead of 5 is for 2 reasons 1. the paid upgrade/subscription service is alwayson the home screen. i realize this a advertising thing and is merly a person annoyence for me. 2. I saw there was a water tracker, but as far as I've seen you don't get acess to previous days stats. other than that I really like it.
5 ★The app is great! It holds me accountable, which I love. It makes me more aware of the food I am putting into my body and to choose healthier options. It gives you a limit for the amount of protein, carbs, and fats you can take in for the day and for the week. So far I have lost 4 lbs. in the last two weeks since I've downloaded it (and this is without exercising).
5 ★I just signed up for the trial upgrade and have decided to keep. Primary reason for my decision is my use of the personal trainer feature. I have been put on a fairly restrictive diet by my doctor to manage my blood sugar. The plan I requested and received was right on target and included foods I actually enjoy eating. I am assuming this is because of the food eaten I had been recording in the app. I have just submitted a request for an exercise plan and expect to be pleased with this too.
5 ★excellent config options and no ad-disruption. The barcode scanner is super helpful, as are pre-existing list items, since not everything comes with a barcode. I wish I could easily save a group of ingredients as a meal (e.g. "breakfast", or "lunch salad"), with the option to simply as the meal again or slightly modify the ingredients (ratios, remove, add something).
4 ★This app is simple and colourful. It sets a 1 week target for you and displays your progress in a bar chart. I prefer this to the My Fitness Pal app which relied on me making my own fitness plan and constantly reminded me to enter my meals. Poundaweek has made me realise that if I have a "bad" day or don't lose weight one week, I haven't failed. Only 4 stars because I'd like more UK foods to be in its catalogue. I'd also like a holiday feature so you could skip days during Xmas etc.
5 ★This app has significantly helped me. i found it more user-friendly than others. one suggestion i would make is the add food bar gets missed at the bottom of the screen, so often ive hit the 'add food' button multiple times before i remember they changed it to the bottom. thabk you for this app and all of the customizations you can make to the settings!
5 ★Great app! I especially like how they don't entice people with food. Instead of focusing on daily intake, they do both daily and weekly cals, and adjusting as you go. They also provide motivational quotes and more. Their food database is extensive too, limiting the need to create a new food all the time. I wish I would have found this app years ago!
