3 ★I updated it a few times and still don't work completely. I used it in the past, and it worked well. What I most like about it is that I can collaborate with an ONG while I work out. I hope to be able to use it in the future.
2 ★Can it be used in the background without opening app, also without internet. Tried today it measured steps ok but used what I consider high data
1 ★1/25/25. App recorded 27 days of walking when it wasn't open. I believe this is Spyware. 3/24/23 Still buggy. Support team stumped. The app used to work but it doesn't accurately tracks activity. It resets to 0. I love the concept but it isnt working. Is anyone at charity miles paying attention? No. The many one star reviews document many people are having the same problem. As of 3/17/24,they are still recommending the same fixes: reinstall CM. Install Strava. These fixes don't work.
2 ★Allow Themed IconsThis app has promise but falls short. App crashes often and when it does all readings for any activity in progress is lost. I've contacted the developers several times about this and they always blame it on my phone however reading the reviews I see I'm not the only one having this problem. Starting think there in something shady going on. I was always glad to be able to contribute but this is getting ridiculous. I also wonder why they don't offer Indoor Bike, Elliptical, etc?!

1 ★Have used the app for years. Enjoyed it despite its flaws. However, the app has been unusable recently as it won't even open. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixes it for a couple days before it stops working again. Uninstalled until it's fixed though this seems unlikely since it's a problem that's been going on for a while.
1 ★4 updates & no Fix.Since last update i can only get a blank screen that says Charity Miles in the background. I run a music app & Pokemon app at the same time when walking. When I would go to check on my distance this Charity Miles app would seem to refresh itself; but it seemed more like a restart because the app view would disappear, then reappear. And after the 2nd or third check/refresh my progress would be lost & it would show 0 distance. It might help if this app had a widget. (Android).
2 ★I give it two stars just because I love the idea of the app but it crashes a lot and sometimes I will walk like four or five miles thinking I'm doing it for charity when the app crashed and I didn't do it for charity really disappointing.
