كتاب قواعد الثراء تأليف ريتشارد تمبلريكشف لنا ريتشارد تمبلر في كتابه "قواعد الثراء"، بعض القواعد و الطرق التي تمكن أي شخص من تحقيق وتنمية ثروته من خلال كتابه قواعد الثروة. ويعتبر هذا الكتاب دليلا ذاتيا لا غنى عنه في التوجيه للأمور المالية، وذلك وفقا لصحيفة ذا تايمز البريطانية، حيث يصيغ لنا تمبلر 100 قاعدة للثروة في 313 صفحة مجزئة إلى 5 أبواب رئيسية، ويستخلص لنا قوانين قد تكون معروفة لبعضنا من البداية، وهو ما نسميه غالبا بالتفكير المنطقي، لكن المؤلف وضعها على هيئة قوانين نموذجية تساعدنا في قياس تصرفاتنا اليومية في تحقيق الثراء المنشود.
من وجهة نظر تمبلر، يبدأ جمع الثروة في "فكر كما يفكر الأثرياء" ؛ فهي الانطلاقة المثالية في مثابرتنا إلى تحقيق الثراء، فبإمكان الجميع كسب المال؛ فالأمر ليس مقصورا على فئة بعينها، فلا يهم ما هي طبقتنا الاجتماعية، أو ما سعى إليه آباؤنا، أو حتى ما نظنه بخصوص أنفسنا، فإن الفرص متاحة أمام الجميع؛ وذلك حتى نغترف منها قدر ما نشاء، الأمر الوحيد الذي قد يمنعنا هو أنفسنا ومعتقداتنا الخرافية بشأن المال. فما علينا إلا تحديد أهداف واقعية وصادقة للعمل من أجلها، فإذا ما كذبنا على أنفسنا فسوف يفشل الأمر. وينصح تمبلر بتدوين الأهداف، حيث إنها تمنح الأمر واقعية أكبر، مع الانتباه إلى إبقاء الأمر سرا مع أنفسنا، فذلك أمر مهم أيضا، كي لا يحبط الآخرون من عزيمتنا.
ويشير تمبلر أيضا إلى أن المال ما هو إلا حق مادي يدفع كمقابل للعمل الجاد، والتفكير الماهر، فلكل مجتهد نصيب، إلا أن البعض يتكاسل عن كسب المال، والبعض الآخر لا يقدم أي تضحيات، ولا يحاول التعلم أو العمل، أو التركيز على هذا الأمر بجد، إذا بتأكيد أصحاب الثروات هم هؤلاء الذين ينهضون مبكرا، ولا يبخلون بالوقت أو الجهد. فالمال يجلب المال، ولكي نطبق عمليا هذه الفكرة، ابدأ في إنشاء مزرعة للمال، حسب تعبير تمبلر، هذا التوجه كفيل لتكاثر الأموال، لننفق بعضها ونستثمر بعضها، ولا ننسى ألا ننظر بعين الحسد لما يملكه الآخرون؛ فالحسد مرفوض، فقد يكون بمقدور المال أن يبعد عنا بعضا من مسببات التعاسة، ولكنه حتما لا يقدر أن يزيد على ذلك.
