Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

3 ★Works fine for single words, won't recommend it to translate full sentences though. Makes my life in China way easier.
1 ★Totally useless! Doesn't work at all. Google translate does everything should do and more plus is FREE.
4 ★Very useful, but not always accurate. It can give you a good guess what the text is about.
2 ★The camera view is upside down...so it is very difficult to use the application. The translation is OK.
3 ★Its handy to have but only translates one line or a title of a document. Most places in cities have pinyin on the signs. Some what useful but really not a big deal. Could be better.
5 ★I love it! It does not work with written characters but it is still great help when I need translate for example menu in the restaurant :) really big help.
1 ★I can't get a single Chinese word out of this app. I even tried holding my breath and even standing it against the wall.
1 ★Dont waste time downloading this... it doesnt translate properly....
1 ★Pure garbage 10 free uses a day and it couldn't even recognize the font used in the picture
2 ★It looks great, but just doesn't work. translating the same piece of text on multiple days yields different results the camera function is SUPER sensitive, to the point that I was unable to hold my phone physically still enough. I tried translating still images to fix this, but I could not get the app to function from a still image at all, even when it (kind of) worked live. I also experienced crashes when trying live translation via camera sometimes I got a remarkably good translation of complex text and it gave me hope, but this was far from the norm I tested the app out against some pre-translated material (some translated literally, some translated by meaning) the unionpay chinese website was translated "kebab, 7 good choices" it translated chairman moa's name on the little red book; but the rest was mainly gibberish about doors, soup, hair etc don't even bother with stylized, blurry, dirty, poorly exposed text The app promises so much, perhaps it needs a "how to" guide to help people get the most of it in it's current form
1 ★I find that this can't focus properly and very rarely works. It normally produces "Sorry can't find this translation" or produces something obviously wrong.
1 ★Translation doesn't have any sense
