“Ciudades Patrimonio Accesibles” es una aplicación accesible y gratuita creada por el Grupo de Ciudades Patrimonio de la Humanidad de España con la colaboración de la Plataforma Representativa Estatal de Personas con discapacidad física, PREDIF.El objetivo de esta aplicación es ofrecer a los visitantes con discapacidad y otras necesidades diversas, información sobre las condiciones de accesibilidad de la oferta turística de las Ciudades Patrimonio. Sus contenidos facilitan la planificación de la visita y la propia experiencia en la ciudad, porque permiten a los usuarios seleccionar los recursos turísticos de su interés y los establecimientos cuyas características de accesibilidad se adecuan mejor a sus necesidades particulares.
La aplicación recoge las rutas de interés turístico de cada ciudad mejor preparadas para ser recorridas por Personas con Movilidad Reducida y establecimientos turísticos de distintas tipologías: monumentos, museos, oficinas de turismo, alojamientos, restaurantes, otros.
Toda esta información ha sido verificada in situ por los técnicos de PREDIF de acuerdo con un protocolo de comprobación de la accesibilidad específico para establecimientos turísticos. La información de Úbeda y Baeza ha sido recogida en 2015 y la del resto de ciudades actualizada en 2014.
Parte de la información está disponible en Lectura Fácil, un método de redacción que hace accesible los textos a personas con dificultades de comprensión lectora, por ejemplo, algunas personas con discapacidad intelectual.
