Enjoy using our Good News Bible application that enables you bookmark, share, and also zoom in o zoom out font sizes. Make personal notes on verses. Color highlight verses. Audio has also been including in the latest version. You also get daily devotional messages, Verse of the Day, with verse, commentary, prayer and imagery.
VERSE OF THE DAY:
How it works, you get a notification in the morning prompting you to open app (optional- you can turn notifications). when you click on the received notification, app opens and you will be able to load fresh content.
This is the only feature in the application that requires internet connection. Reason: If we included 'verses of the day' content for all the years that you will be using the app as a user, the content would be large and thus require you to download large files on initial install. We do also change content to suit changes in calendar year in year out.
BOOKMARKING AND SHARING:
This Good News Bible is designed with ability to bookmark your favorite verses or even remember where you LAST stopped reading. Select verses you want to bookmark. Then click BOOK icon on the top left corner. Verses will be added to bookmark list. To delete bookmarked verses, swipe to the left of the verse.
To share verses, just click SHARE icon after selecting verses.
READING EASE:
Good News Bible has been designed to make reading easy.
We have included FONT SIZE customization option that increases and reduces the text size of font respectively. Slide on the slider to your designed font size.
You can go to screen and select "Keep Screen On" to avoid screen from going off.
You can change contrast from day to "NIGHT MODE".
No annoying or obtrusive advertisements.
NAVIGATION:
All the books of the holy bible, Good News Bible, have been included. Select book, say Psalms, that you want to navigate to. Select the chapter you want to start reading from. All the verses in the chapter are loaded. After finishing reading the verses of a chapter, simply click on NEXT ARROW button at the near bottom right to go forward or bottom-left to go to the previous chapter.

3 ★Uses a simple English to deliver the message. Because of that it is to understand. But some verses are missing that is I rate it with three stars
5 ★Easy to memorize the words and so easy to learn and understand......
4 ★Its simple and easy to read. However, the note taking section places a limit on how many words to write. You make note and not all the contents are revealed. Again, in taking note, you have to save it before leaving else on ypur next visit, it will take you back to where you started.
5 ★Encouraging and nourishing .The bible verses build my spiritual being everyday and whenever am down, I always go to my good news bible app for it is very clear and easily understandable. The language used ìs quite down to the level of any age group. It makes my bible study easy.. When it come to sharing of the word of God with friend or fellow worshippers I do it very freely without any hitch. This good news app has made me understand the word of God more than I did with other thanks very much.
1 ★The ebook I got seems to be unrelated to the picture's. Each verse is separate from each other, making it much harder to read. The pictures show the text in paragraphs, ie much easier and better than what you get. Also, at $13.99 it is expensive to purchase compared with, as an example, Tecarta Bibles. Deleted.

5 ★I downloaded this app a day ago and so far it's been great, the interface is stylish and yet simple and to add to my excitement I realized I could download other Bible translations using this app as well. I have tried to download it but I would like to know how would be able to tell if a different translation has been downloaded successfully and how do I access it?
5 ★Being a Bible reader it helps me to understand better what I am reading in the KJV and other translations. I'm grateful for the daily verse and the commentary as well as the prayer. I often share this inspiration with others on a daily basis. It's a good tool to have in your Bible reading and studying of scripture.
